Dr. Alan Paul Glombicki, MD

I just love Dr Glombicki so very much. He did indeed save my life. He was my second Hep C dr but I ended up developing cancer He never told me about the cancer but said you go here which was Methodist Transplant Center where they treated the Hep C cancer and cirrhosis. I did receive excellent care from Methodist team and a new liver 10 years ago 7/4/2015. Thanks Dr Glombicki

Excellent doctor, remarkable GE and great person. However his supporting administration team is pretty deficient. I changed to another doctor 4 years ago due to issues with his supporting team and came back after a year because I was missing his expertise, knowledge and wonderful treatment. However, recently during a diverticulitis episode I had difficulties to speak with somebody in both offices to get and appointment or refill for my prescriptions. I called several times in the morning until I was able to speak with a lady that took my contact information and details of my health condition and told me that he would return my call in 24 hours. My condition got worse in the afternoon so I called again two or three times to try to get the prescription and was always transferred to the waiting automatic system. I was just able to get the answering service after 4 pm who told me that a message would be left in the office that would be got next day in the morning. I never received… any call from the doctor nor the office next day so I went to an ER where I paid almost $200 for a consultation with a general practitioner super young doctor that prescribed me the protocole prescription of metronidazole that doesn't work for me given the numerous times that I have used that medicine in the past. Dr Glombicki has experienced with other medicines that have worked better against my diverticulitis condition. Hope this message reaches Dr Glombicki who deserve a better supporting team as well as his patients. Probably I'll look for another GE in the next few days.

Dr Glombicki saved my life. I had Hepatitis C and was so very ill. Other doctors said there was no help for me. Here I am over 10 years later. He started me on PegIntron and in six months I was clear for anymore live virus and have remained so. I have recommended him to two others and he saved their lives as well. If you have a liver problem he is the man to see.

I live one of the assistants! She was amazing, but there is a disconnect in vitals.com appointments and the office bookings. They also book patients when the doctor is not planning to be in the office. I won't be returning.

I seen this doctor for six years. He did a lot of things for me. I was very sad when I had to move out of the area. I hope that if I return he would take me back. Trusted him and have had a hard time doing that with new doctors.

Excellent doctor. Was able to schedule me in for a procedure during spring break week as my daughter was home and could accompany me to hospital. Went above and beyond.

He is a wonderful, carrying and very patient doctor. He explains everything with much detail and with examples very easy to understand. When I have been in the hospital under his care, he visits me every day. When I have had the need to call him during a weekend, he has responded promptly and always has solve my problems. I wish all doctors were like him.

Great bedside manner, extremely knowledgeable

My daughter had an inflamed liver and we went in to see Dr. Glombicki. While in the waiting room we did an Internet search on him to see what others had to say. You might want to do this before you go see him. We should have walked but we're desperate to talk to a doctor. He seemed like a nice guy, explained things with one analogy after another, and speculated on what the cause could be? He called with a diagnosis of a liver disease that can only be diagnosed with a liver biopsy which she has never had. He also prescribed her medicine that is used for high cholesterol and should not be used if you have liver issues. He also said she had high triglycerides. We switched to another GI Dr. being skeptical of the diagnosis-she has mono. She has normal triglycerides and normal cholesterol. Like others have said too- the office staff is so disorganized and rude.
