Dr. Alan Eli Lichtin

Dr. Lichtin is a phenomenal doctor. His knowledge of his subject matter is stellar. If he is unable to provide the guidance he seems to find the expert with in the Clinic who will. His reputation there is definitely well known! He always spends time with me to insure he has answered my questions. (I frequently come with a list!) His devotion to his patients is by far the best I have ever experienced. I have received calls from him late in evening, on a weekend or even on a holiday just to insure I have what I need.

I think that 5 stars the entire way across sums up the knowledge and professionalism Dr Lichtin and his staff show. Excellent follow up and his ability to converse with the patient on an understandable level is key to his great care. I would highly recommend Dr Lichtin to ANYONE in need of his expertise.

It has been over 10 years since Dr. Lichtin saw my husband at Cleveland Clinic and I am still passing his name as one of the best doctors I've had any contact with. From the moment we arrived, with less than a five minute wait, until well after we returned to our home in WV; Dr. Lictin was very professional, very thorough, attentive, and kind. He took his time with our questions and concerns and even called our home several time to check on my husband's condition as well as taking time to confer with my husband's local oncologist. I have recommended him many times to friends who have needed to see a doctor but unfortunately, the distance is usually a problem. I will continue to recommend him whenever I talk to anyone who is battling cancer. His kindness and caring remain a bright spot in what was a terrible time for my family. I do not hesitate to give him excellent ratings...he definitely deserves it.

Truly, I have never met a kinder, more caring physician. That all goes along with an extremely high degree of intellegence and professional expertise. Kudos to the Cleveland Clinic for finally getting it right - smart AND nice, for a change. If you are in need of this type of doctor, he's your man :)
