Dr. Alana Cox

I finally found an MD more interested in healing me than writing a script and getting me out of their office in minutes or less. Thanks you Dr. Cox.

While I did enjoy my time as a patient of Dr. Cox in sessions, out of sessions it was a nightmare. Appointments canceled at last minute with little to no explanation, on several occasions I ran out of my medication and when I contacted her office to get prescription refills I never heard back so I would have to be off my medication for weeks, and most recently she has refused to fill out a form I need for my ESA (which she prescribed). While I respect her choice to not fill out this form, I have been contacting her for over a month trying to get this form filled out and did not get any sort of response until today, less than a week before I need this form submitted. If she had responded to one of my many calls over the past month to tell me she would not fill out this form, I would have had time to work with a new psychiatrist. However, due to this lack of communication, I am stuck in a bad situation for my mental health.

Dr Cox is so awesome, she takes everything into consideration and works from there and understands and helps me to understand my problems . I have been with her over 5 years and would hate to think I ever have to change . I have to pay cash she is not included on my insurance plan and that speaks alot .

Dr. Cox shows the most concern and sincere care she never gives up I wish she was mine to take home and sit on the Shelf she is adorable and has saved my life more than once

She truly cares about you and in her you really do see a light at the end of that uglly tunnel Unless you have a disability (ANY disability not just from mental illness) This is America and a decision not to take a patient's insurance be it Medicare or any other is ok, its a free country. BUT to reject a patient in need of care after being given an appt day (less than 2 wks) w/out any explanation except 'paperwork' from office manager Ashley and bubblehead #1? (would NOT give me her name no matter how nice or often I asked). There ARE people who are disabled who can pay for a service. It is an INSULT to those Americans who are in need of care to casually dismiss them for no valid reason whatsoever. I would be ashamed to be associated with this practice in any way shape or form. Please keep in mind these people who you are deluded into thinking care so much may not care much at all. Hope you are in excellent physical health and are in no danger of becoming disabled because you… will be like me, unwelcome. Have fun with your fake flakes.

Dr. Cox is the most understanding patient Dr. I have visited in many years. She truly cares about you and in her you really do see a light at the end of that uglly tunnel . Thanks Dr. Cox for believing in me just as I do you !!!
