Dr. Albert Brent Bankston, MD

I’m a 68 year old male in good health and fairly active, but had severe pain in knee. I found Dr. Bankston to be extremely knowledgeable and professional in his treatment before and after my total knee replacement surgery. I feel that my speedy recovery is due to his expertise and following his orders with regard to rehab. I highly recommend him!

His attitude could use adjusting. Just because he treats “football players who play with worse problems than...” does not mean that treatment, conditions and pain are “one size fits all. Perhaps he would be better suited finding permanent employment as a Dr. for college or professional football players. He seems to know more about sports medicine than he does about the average person’s orthopedic conditions. I did not appreicate his condescending tone while discussing my treatment options, especially when I was told by something different by three different Medical professionals who referred me to him to take care of my problems because he is supposed to be the best person to handle these types of problems. If you’re older, and not in “tip top shape”, may I suggest seeing a geriatric orthopedist.

I was very impressed with Brent's knowledge. He does not waste any time talking to you. He explains the procedure very well. Pleased with the results.

Dr. Bankston has operated on my son and husband. Could not ask for a more knowledgeable and gentle person.
