Incompetent doctor

I went yesterday for an EMG and I was very nervous and anxious. As I entered and talked his nurse Patricia, I instantly began to relax. When I went in the room with Dr. Fullerton, he immediately put me at ease. He was fast and very efficient . Patricia talked with me the whole time and helped me relax. I had a very good experience and would recommend him.

Dr. Fullerton took me the same day I called, took time to listen to me and look over my scans and documents.

Very diligent caring doctor. He has helped me more than any other doctor I've had.

Dr. Fullerton, has been wonderful and very patience with me i have MS for over twenty three years and he always has time for any questions i may have. I never feel rushed out of his office and he not only cares about my health , but cares about my family and how they are coping

Not sure how I feel about this fellow. When I was late for a few sessions he scolded me and told me I was going to join the ranks of the permanently unemployed (wow) if I kept this up. I defended myself saying that I've help down regular jobs before and had a high GPA in college but that recently I had been feeling depressed, unmotivated and extremely stressed. I also noted several OCD symptoms, insomnia and generalized anxiety I was experiencing on my medication (note: I take medication for inattentive type ADHD) and he recommended exercise, going outside and getting to sleep early. This sort of Ben Franklin panacea of a disciplined and regimented life style seems "wise" but not exactly suited for my problems since my fatigue and depression persist with or without a regimen and all the same makes one very hard if not impossible to maintain. It would have been nice to have some sort of diagnosis or an inquiry into why I might be claiming to experience these things rather than total… disregard but nah. I want to be fair here and say that Fullerton is not exactly a mean person but is rather old fashioned. When I arrived on time for my next sessions he was very courteous and shook my hand afterwards--although the sessions were noticeably short and short on questions as to how I was doing. He seemed to appreciate the effort though and was keen to reward improvement. But I'm not looking for a disciplinarian or the respect of a southern gentlemen (I don't know if he's southern but his degrees are all from southern universities)--I feel this is probably the case for a lot of people seeking help for neurological issues. Besides this he screwed up the dates on a few of my prescriptions so I'll have to go back earlier than I expected for more scripts (maybe I'll air some of my complaints and post how it goes here). To be fair once again, he has been very agreeable when it comes to changing prescriptions or dosages although his knowledge on ADHD medication seems limited so every time it has the air of an experiment. His assistant who takes my blood pressure is utterly charming and the rest of the staff as far as I know is friendly. All the same, I'll definitely be looking for a younger and more holistic neurologist or at least someone who specializes in ADHD in the near future. I recommend Fullerton if you have been pre-diagnosed and just need your scripts filled on time.

I saw this doctor after suffering of constant head pain. He diagnostic a pintch nerve (as I had no neurologic symptome at all.) He told me to not do any imaging or extra investigation about my pain and prescribe me a very strong nerves releaser with lots of side effects that I decide to not take until I knew the cause of the pain. After my GP prescribe me a neck-brain MRI I have been diagnostic with a Chiari malformation and will need a brain operation to fix it. Very bad experience overall, except for his secretary, who is nice, funy and sweet.

I HAVE SEEN DR FULLETON SEVERAL TIMES AND EACH TIME I LIKE HIM EVEN MORE MY 1ST IMPRESSION OF HIM WAS HE WAS COLD BUT NOW THAT I KNOW HIM HE IS A GREAT. I SAW SEVERAL MD'S BEFORE HIM AND KNOW ONE KNEW WHAT WAS GOING ON HE IS AN EXCELLENT DIAGNOSTIC DR

I'm used to doctors leaving me in the waiting room forever and then leaving me waiting again once I get into the exam room. So, imagine my surprise when Dr. Fullerton came out to get me 5 minutes BEFORE my appointment time. Then, the surprise continued when he sat right down and immediately got to the reason I was there. He did a thorough history and his diagnosis was accurate. I had plenty of time to ask all the questions I wanted and I felt satisfied with the treatment options he presented to me. I called back about a week later becuase I had another question. I expected to get a nurse or something, but no. The actual Doctor got on the phone and spoke to me himself. I can honestly say that this is the first and only doctor that has EVER bothered to speak to me over the phone. I have been back to see him 3 times since and he is prompt EVERY time. It is nice to finally meet a doctor who knows how to schedule his patients and who cares about my time. The receptionist is also very nice… and helpful.
