Saw Dr. Issac a number of years ago for several years. Professional, compassionate, understanding and extremely helpful.

If you're looking for someone who actually cares about you, look elsewhere.

No respect for other people's time. Insightful. Revealing. Intelligent. Funny. But also condescending and he can incite self doubt which is not helpful when you are grappling with self esteem issues. Really tries hard to work with medication issues.

I was treated by this doctor years ago at Fairfax Hospital. He is hands down one of the worst psychiatrists I have ever consulted--opinionated, full of himself, dismissive of patients, abrupt in his diagnosing and prescribing, and also just plain wrong in his assessment of my condition. He missed simple medical reasons for my depression symptoms and instead tended to launch into lengthy harangues that were largely demeaning toward me. I overheard his consultations with other patients, enough to think he's that way with many people. I also spoke later with psychiatric nurses who had studied with him, and they became notably silent when asked what they thought of him. For my own part, I filed a complaint with the hospital concerning his behavior. Dr. Isaac is the sole reason I have avoided seeking treatment at Fairfax Hospital for over 5 years.
