Dr. Alexandra Zuercher

Alexandra (Ally) Zuercher, O.D., F.A.A.O. received her Doctor of Optometry from the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry (UIWRSO) in 2018. Dr. Zuercher was active in the Private Practice Club, the student chapter of the Texas Optometric Association, and was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Schreiner University in Kerrville, Texas. Dr. Zuercher continued her education by pursuing an Optometric Residency in Primary Care and Ocular Disease through UIWRSO, spending a year working with various optometry and ophthalmology specialties to further her knowledge as an eyecare provider. She then continued her education by obtaining her fellowship from the American Academy of Optometry shortly after residency, giving her the prestigious title of F.A.A.O. Dr. Zuercher is a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist, licensed to provide all types of eyecare services, from prescribing glasses …and contact lenses, to treating and managing many different types of ocular diseases. In practice since 2018, Dr. Zuercher has also participated in vision screenings at the Special Olympics of Texas and has been involved with mission trips to the Texas Valley, providing hundreds of Texans with much needed eyecare. Dr. Zuercher is a caring listener who not only provides quality eyecare and services, but also strives to be the kind of eye doctor her patients can count on for many years to come.
