Extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and caring. Dr Alexander spends adequate amount of time with you to ensure all your questions are answered. She is attentive to detail and explains everything. She was available to me around the clock during my pregnancy. She was amazing during our delivery. I was very anxious regarding the whole experience and her gentle and reassuring bedside manner made the whole experience very positive. Dr. Alexander is a highly recommended obstetrician known for her compassionate care and extensive expertise. She ensures a supportive and informative experience throughout pregnancy, making her an excellent choice for expectant parents. Her approachable demeanor and commitment to patient well-being make her standout in her field. Dr Alexander has delivered all three of my children. After my first pregnancy we moved 2 and a half hours away and I made the trip to Morgantown for all my prenatal care and deliveries for my second and third child. I could not have been happier with the care I received. I give Dr Alexander my highest recommendations.

I wouldn’t recommend this doctor to anyone. She talks about patients to other patients, giving WAY too much information. Warning: if your doc talks to you about other patients, they’re most likely talking about you to other patients. She also treats her overweight patients horribly. She says the worst things about them behind their backs. She treats her “pretty patients” (her words, not mine) the best. When there was still a mask mandate, she would allow her favorite patients to go without masks, but was rude to other patients who didn’t have a mask on when they walked in the door. She would also spend 50% of her appointments talking about how amazing she was rather than focusing on her patient. If I had a doctor behave that way, I would probably walk out of the appointment. She was also terrible at explaining insurance/cost issues to patients. If I didn’t already understand those topics, I wouldn’t have understood her explanations. There were patients who walked out and never came… back because of how terribly she explained things. She was late literally every single day, sometimes almost an hour late. I would have to constantly make up excuses for why she was late, and deal with patients’ anger (understandable as it was). She always brings her dog to the office, even though her dog bites people. She would also TELL people that they needed to be careful because he might bite them. There were times when she would be in the office while patients were in labor at the hospital, and nurses would call her about the patients. Rather than discussing their issues compassionately or professionally, she would straight up gossip about patients who were actively in pain. Here’s another huge red flag: she would constantly tell patients not to believe what other doctors told them, and to ONLY listen to her. She would give dietary advice based her her personal opinion instead of what is backed by research, and she is NOT a trained dietary specialist. (Med schools barely cover dietary issues unless it’s for GI specialists - seriously, look it up.) If you ever have a doctor do ONE of these things, you should find a new doctor, but a doc who does ALL of them has no business seeing patients.
