After years of being treated as a number and had my care and issues overlooked and or not taken seriously Dr Porter and her team made a life changing impact. I appreciate her skill and knowledge and compassion more then simple words can say and thank God I finally found the right care at Skagit Regional..

From pre op to post op the care I received from Dr. Porter was top notch. I had a surgery that could have disfigured me, but with her knowledge & skill, I have no scar at all! Simply amazing!

I had my first encounter with Dr. Porter a few weeks ago when she examined me prior to scheduling me for a surgical repair of an inguinal hernia. I was immediately impressed by her empathy, kindness, gentleness, thoroughness, and professionalism. She and her team at Skagit Regional Health in Mount Vernon performed the surgery last week and everyone was great and I am doing very well. I have had minimal pain, swelling, or bruising. I could not have asked for a better experience, and I highly recommend Dr. Porter and the staff at Skagit Regional Health, Skagit Vally Hospital.

I met Dr. Porter for the first time for an evaluation of my inguinal hernia. I was impressed by her attentiveness to my concerns, the clarity of her speech and thought, her professionalism, and her 'bedside manner'. I look forward to having her surgically repair my hernia next month.

After developing lung complications following routine surgery at Seattle Virginia Mason hospital Dr. Porter was the floor doctor during a period of time that my condition was rapidly deteriorating. Dr. Porter refused to transfer me to ICU. Eventually I was transferred but nearly too late. I was given a 50% chance of survival. We had lost valuable time due to Dr. Porter's low skill level and uncaring disposition. Eventually I fully recovered. This is a case of a Doctor whose skill level is so low that she is a danger to her patients. She should be avoided.
