Dr. Alvin Joseph Lue, MD

Saw Dr. Lue several years ago. He brought a young man in with him. I was not introduced. I assumed he was in training. Dr. Lue was arrogant and condescending during his time with me. I believe he was showing off to impress the young man. If that was not the case, then he has some serious problems. It was the worst doctor's visit I have ever had.

I am a healthy 29yo female that visited Dr. Alvin Lue at the walk-in clinic at Eagle Physicians. I had attempted wakeboarding the day before that resulted in some significant lower back/hip pain. Given that the back pain hadn’t subsided at all after 24 hours I decided to seek medical care. After explaining to Dr. Lue what happened, he performed a short physician examination where every movement I made hurt. He quickly stated it was simple muscle strain and wrote prescriptions for pain management. Myself, as well as my husband, asked Dr. Lue if an X-ray could be performed as a precaution, he quickly responded, “no, it’s muscle strain.” His overall bedside manner was horrible and he continually blew off my concerns. It has now been 2.5 weeks and the pain has only mildly subsided, I was able to get another physician to perform an X-ray and was just informed I have a compression fracture in my lumbar area. As someone who works in the medical field, I am very upset at the… lack of time and concern that was shown, that has ultimately impedes my overall healing. For someone that advertises themselves as a “sports medicine” physician, I urge everyone to beware! Do not trust this physician!

Dr Lue has always treated my wife kindly. He takes the extra time to hear her out and ask any pertinent questions she may have. He makes you feel like your his longtime friend, something we haven't since we left our family Dr back home in NJ.

Dr. Lue is a fantastic doctor. While the wait was on the higher side, it is because he was at PrimeCare which is a walk in, first come first serve practice. He asks all of the appropriate questions, checks everything, makes his diagnosis, prescribes whatever is necessary to get you feeling better, and explains how/when to take your meds. I wish he was my family doctor!!
