Dr. Amelia F. Drake

Dr Drake was referred to me by an ENT who thought I may need surgery for Paranasal issue. Apparently she had read a previous report by a Dr and thought my messing with area may be causing the issue. She came in the room with diagnosis and did not examine me. She saw there was swelling and said I would need to come back in 6 months. I had not touched that area because never an issue and assumed scar tissue. I would think she would have been concerned about swelling and completed exam. I would hope all drs would examine and come to their own diagnosis instead of accepting the notes of someone else’. At that time I had been having the issue for 3 years and another scan or thinking outside the box was what I needed. To make matters worse she adds her own notes stating the same and has presented me with an issue seeing Dr for new issue( growth or cyst in tip of nose). I am really disappointed in knowing she and another would rather find blame than ito look for answers to a 3 year old… problem. Even a simple culture would have been a good start to see what we were dealing with.

Dr Drake runs a factory where patients come in with ear issues, she quickly diagnoses which really means scheduling ear tubes, bills, and then moves on. If that doesn't fix the problem, you'll end up in a cycle of ear tubes but no solutions

Dr. Drake made our 14 year old daughter feel safe and secure durring the entire surgury process. I have never met a doctor with such excellent bedside manner.
