Dr. Anaida Melkumian, MD

This doctor's office does not care about patients, only her office visit fees. She will not renew prescriptions unless you make an appointment and pay a fee. She will not reach out to pharmacies to correct errors in prescriptions, but will instead just void the prescription. There are no flexibilities in her policy. She recently converted to an electronic records system, but did not update records to include past patient history. When you go into the office, they have no prior information on you although you have many years of patient History. It is a waste of time.

I was looking for a new primary care physician, and I'm so glad I found Dr. Melkumian. She is compassionate about her work and was so easy to talk with. Thank you Dr. M.

Dr. Melkumian is an excellent and caring doctor! She has very strong expertise in all areas of her practice. Dr. Melkumian does not hesitate to refer her clients to other specialized doctors if she feels her patients are in need of specialized fields of medicine! I highly recommend her to other persons seeking a strong and caring doctor with loads of expertise!

I was not happy with the way my diagnosis' were handled. Nothing was really addressed except my stomach infection. The fact that I had Gaul Stones was not addressed and I subsequently ended up in the hospital with a Gaul Bladder Attack. This should have been addressed instead of jumping from one thing to another. I felt like a guinne Pig.

She is the best. ALL other doctors NEED to learn from her in how to treat patients. She is the most kind, informative, caring, knowledgable Dr. EVER!! She is DEDICATED to her patients 100%. And gives each patient, her full, undivided attention. She TRULY is concerned for her patients. She's extremely busy, but you'd never know it from the amount of time she spends with you! Seriously, other Drs. NEED to take lessons from her. She makes you feel so cared about & she is SO wise. Her staff, too, is top of the line in all respects...compassionate, knowledgable & they get the job done. At this office, the patient ALWAYS comes first. (Wow, what a concept!)

I have been seeing Dr Melkumian since she bought Dr Kushner's practice. As a registered nurse at Long Beach Memorial for 26 years, I feel I can recognize a good doctor when I see one. Dr Melkumian is an extremely thorough and caring doctor and she doesn't hesitate to refer you to a specialist if she has a concern. She also never acts like she's in a hurry, even though she has a full schedule. She explains everything, which I find many doctors don't take the time to do. The other thing I've noticed is that the office staff is now consistent and happy. The office recently had a much-needed makeover. The new office is beautiful and clean. I am a happy, well-cared-for patient. Thank you Dr Melkumian and staff for taking such good care of us!

Such great office, with good costumer service. Very friendly carrying & the most amazing part about it is they do such great work. I recomend every one to Dr. Melkumian.
