I needed instructions for a procedure, and first got them upside down; when i got the right side up, they didn't contain information that a nurse gave me. When I asked the nurse, she had no idea about the instructions that were sent to me. She said she would send me the correct instructions, but she never did. Through all of this, the 3 staff members I dealt with were rude, uninformed, and just not qualified for their jobs. Therefore, I assume Dr M must be an awful boss.

Not available to his patients, misdiagnosed a Hidradenitis cyst for an infected follicle. Unavailable for a follow up despite numerous attempts. Dismissive attitude. Needs to learn to listen instead of assume he knows what my pain feels like. I know the difference between HS and a hair follicle. Mellgren has been a lasting pain in my ***

Very painful examination. I had no insurance and didn't want to have an anoscopy done, but Dr Mellgren assured me they don't bill for it. Guess what, in a month I receive a $500 bill for anoscopy. Also, did not return my phone call as promised. Staff is awful as well - they were supposed to get my medical history from my last doctor, and they haven't even requested it

Was surgically treated for a problem I suffered with for 20+ years. Dr. Mellgren really listened to me..providing a diagnosis and treatment plan others missed. I am 7 years out after surgery and life is great thanks to this man. I am forever grateful.
