Dr. Egon Doppenberg attentively shared most appropriate approach which resulted in successful outcome with minimal hospital stay and maximum follow-up.

Dr. Doppenberg has performed 2 back surgeries for me. The results have been successful and he has been professional & supportive. I would recommend him to anyone. His staff is also helpful and very responsive.

I visited emergency room for sciatica pain with numbness on my leg. Emergency surgery was recommended for my spine. Dr Doppenberg’s office helped me out to schedule visit with him shortly after discharge from ER. The back surgery was scheduled very quickly. Dr Doppenberg is amazing surgeon. My pain after surgery was gone right away and leg sensation came back in a very short time. Dr Doppenberg is very high class specialists,his expertise and experience is above and beyond. He is very professional and has a great bedside meaner. I am so fortunate to be treated by this Doctor.

Amazing surgeon and human. I felt very comfortable having Dr. Doppenberg as my surgeon and I trusted him 100%. He did discectomy and fusion on my cervical disc 3, 4 and 5. Surgery went very well but recovery time took over a year. Very painful and my neck won't feel same normal as before if I can say "normal" , wasn't normal before surgery either that's why I had to do it. If you really suffer from neck pain and you have numbness on your arm, hand or shoulder Dr. Doppenberg will fix all that issue but after surgery there is still some pain but different. ROM is limited forever, can't do all exercises like before. There is always something and I need it to learn how to live and manage my live with my new neck. If I have to do it again I won't. Don't get me wrong, is absolutely Not Doctor problem, is our body difficult to heal and accept artificial parts.

Surgery went well as far as my body could tell till day 3 when one side of my body seemed to have nerve pain shooting from hip to calf that was never there before. The neuro team came together, were very present days and nights checking on my situation and comfort. I think I saw every surgeon on the team over the next few days as well as PA's that offered ideas, ice packs, heat alternatives as well as words of comfort. I felt so very much taken care of and appreciated the concern and actions taken to assure what was happening and how to treat it. I spent 8 days in the hospital then transferred to a rehab center. I have done well and am home after 10 days of rehab care. Each day is a bit better. Great team, attitude, and care. Thank you so very much.

Dr. Doppenberg is very personable and empathetic as a surgeon. He walks you through every part of the surgery and makes sure you don’t have any questions unanswered. I am very happy with my outcome from surgery!
