Visit before last, I was at the doctors office for 4+ hours. In the last visit, I sat in the waiting room for 2 hours and still had not even been called to see the doctor. This office need to improve the time it takes to see the patients or please do not schedule for appointments you can not meet.

AWFUL, and this was by far the WORST experience I've EVER had with a doctor. Velasco is VERY impersonal and over-explanatory to the point of patronizing. This was the only practice even remotely near me (try 2 hours round trip) that took my insurance. I needed to see them ASAP for extremely painful ovarian cysts and to establish a primary care doctor. When I was finally called in, he checked off items on a spreadsheet (which were already filled out on ZocDoc) and said goodbye. He directed the nurses to do the rest. Note that before arriving, I wrote down that I needed to get the ovarian cysts checked out in my ZocDoc form, expecting to get some blood taken and of course an ultrasound for the cysts. No such luck, as the ultrasound technician was gone for the day and had "left as soon as I got there", even though I HAD AN APPOINTMENT TO GET IT DONE. She was even in the office when I arrived and still left! They also couldn't draw blood or do any blood work, so I got that sent out… in addition to the ultrasound, for which I was not provided any sort of reference. The office staff was standoffish, and only spoke in Spanish when they were scheduling my follow up appointment. I don't speak a lot of Spanish, so I found this extremely rude. Got charged the full amount, even though nothing was accomplished. All in all, I left this office feeling way worse than I did when I arrived. Found another doctor less than 24 hours later and never looking back.

I asked for a list of side effects prior to injections and they didn't give it to me. I got dizzy and they ignored me. They blamed my blood pressure but it only got high after the injection. Four hours later no one called for my family I got released.

What a horrible experience. It begins with "dog for sale" sign at the front desk. Guy answering the phone is a total jerk, condescending towards his coworkers, making faces at clients he had on the phone. With the doctor didn't get any better. The fact the he did not listened to my concern turned the whole appointment direction and I left with no direction of treatment at all. Save yourself time and money and go somewhere else.

This drs office has staff that is unprofessional during work hours everyone was more concerned about what their planswere going to be after work. They also gave me somone elses orders with their personal information on it BIG HIPPA NO NO! When i called them and told them about someone else's order they gave it was like oh well how can i help you but that was due to not paying attention to their task instead the im ready to go home look. I also had to call twice because they never faxed my script to my pharmacy i dont like doing the jobs of others especially when they are getting paid for it. I will be switching drs.

Dr velasco is always on vacation when you need your refill on your meds your out of luck!you have to wait til he comes back Cuz the staffs are so out in left field.you ask when will valasco return and they have no clue but yet they work for him.that tells me that valasco doesn't communicate very well.so what I'm trying to say is he has two things on his mind...MONEY. and VACATION

Dr velasco you were only in it for the money you never cared about your patients you left and even your staffs had no clue.no body got any notice about you leaving..very wrong what you did.very unproffesional
