Dr. Andrew Wayne Beharrie, MD

’m deeply disappointed with the care I received from Dr. Beharrie. At my first visit, he dismissed my pain and only offered a cortisone shot. When I asked about an MRI, he said, “if you want it,” without explaining its importance. I ended up paying out-of-pocket for the MRI, which revealed two fractures and a splint. Because I wasn’t properly diagnosed or braced, I was forced to walk and do chores at home, worsening my condition. Dr. Beharrie also gave me a knee brace that broke within a week. He said it was covered by insurance, but it wasn’t—and now I’m being charged $166 for a brace that costs about $20 online. I was never given options or pricing, and I only learned about the charge after the fact. When I tried to dispute it, Summit Health claimed I signed a waiver, but I was never properly informed. I’m struggling to pay for this mistake, and I feel deceived. Patients deserve honesty, respect, and informed care—especially when dealing with serious injuries. I would not recommend… this provider based on my experience.

Love his mannerisms, personable & listens. It’s my first visit for my shoulder & he was highly recommended by my physical therapist who’s working on my ankle,?? Being a risk taker with 16 major surgeries, I’ve been to so many orthopedics & can tell if they’re caring! Dr. Beharrie is definitely one that’s compassionate?????

very nice guy and seemingly good doctor. I had an ACL procedure done with mixed results but this review is more for the people who work at his office. They are the most incompetent medical office I have ever come across. If one of them had a nosebleed, they would probably call an outside office for assistance. That's the state of affairs at this office. You'll be lucky if they can dial 911 for you. Good luck if you're going there.

Dr. Beharrie is knowledgeable and personable. I had a very good appointment with him this past week and I have confidence about his abilities and assessment regarding my shoulder problem.

I attended a seminar a few months ago entitled, “Getting Back in the Game: The Latest Techniques for Treating your Knee Pain”, by Dr. Andrew Beharrie! His knowledge, credentials and bedside manner had me convinced that I would be coming back to see him as I do suffer from knee pain. My appointment was yesterday and I had an excellent experience. He took time to explain my problem in detail and my treatment options. If you are looking for an excellent doctor who specializes in Sports Medicine, look no further!!! I’m looking forward to my follow-up appointment with him. Also, I would like to mention that his office staff are friendly and professional.

Dr. Beharrie was very pleasant to speak with. He asks questions and listens to your response without dismissing any details. He explains in detail what may be occurring with your injury.

I've been going to see doctor Beharrie for 7years now. I cant say anything bad about him. He moved from middletown ny to new Jersey about 1hr 20mins away and I still travel all that way to see him. Hes done my surgeries hes even call me up to check to see how I was doing
