Dr. Andrew James Braziel, MD

Dr Braziel is an exceptional orthopedic surgeon. I underwent a hip replacement surgery 2 weeks ago under his care. Dr. Braziel took the time to answer all my questions from my first appointment through to surgery and after. He explained the procedure thoroughly. His staff is outstanding in every way. I have had no actual post-op pain. I've had soreness only which has been well managed with acetaminophen, ice and elevation. I am 2 weeks post-op and can walk without assistance. A truly top tier surgeon and staff.

Doctor Andrew Braziel completed a THR for me July 17, 2026. I trusted him from the beginning of meeting him and throughout my surgery. He is an excellent surgeon who is kind, caring, a listener to concerns, explains everything, and knows how to relate to patients. I could not be happier with the experience and results. Almost two weeks out and I am walking without a cane and no pain! I was blessed with a wonderful Doctor. Thank you, Doctor Braziel and his great staff of Lauren, Zach, Alicia, Julie- all kind people to work with!!

I was very comfortable speaking with him, he answered all questions asked, explained the process and I intend to schedule the surgery with him. As I told him, I had a horrific experience when I had my first knee replacement, he sounded sincere about this one not being the same because I wouldn’t be having anesthesia. What I forgot to ask him was does he do a knee block and would he prescribe a non opioid pain medication

I have never had surgery so I went on a quest to find the best surgeon . Dr Braziel’s name kept coming up not only by patients but surgical nurses . He didn’t disappoint. I had my left hip done in June at 7 am and I was home by noon and able to climb up the stairs. My body healed perfectly and I do believe it was because of the surgeon’s skill. He is doing my second hip in September and hopefully it will be even better. I highly recommend him and his team.

I have had my second total knee replacement from Dr. Braziel. I found him to be an excellent surgeon and his staff very responsive to questions. He did a right total knee replacement in November 2025 and in June 2026 a total left knee replacement. I found all my care both to Mrs to be excellent. I highly recommend Dr. Braziel. He is extremely competent and answers all questions. I found his office staff to be caring also.

Dr. Andrew Braziel changed my life. For 20 years I struggled with poor hip replacements in both my legs. I had lost all hope as they were both done at Beth Israel. If Beth Israel couldn't get it right, I was doomed UNTIL I met Dr Braziel. After interviewing at least 10 Orthopedic Surgeons, I finally found him. He was the only one who could tell me in five minutes just looking at an X Ray what was wrong. Doesn't say alot for the Orthopedic Surgery Profession but let's not go there. Andrew Braziel is all you need to know. He's saved my life. Try to get an appointment with him.

I can't say enough about the high quality of care provided by Dr. Braziel and his team. He's done partial replacements on both my knees and I'm very pleased with the results.
