Top in his field. Constantly reading research and best practice. Resorts to surgery only as a last resort. Extremely professional. Is very professional, direct to the point, presents your options and allows you to decide. I had serious shoulder issue from a fall. Working with Dr. Clerk we resolved it without surgery.

I saw Dr. Clerk for a torn meniscus. He told me we should scope it. I attempted to ask a question and he turned on a 58 second video told me "this will answer all my questions" and walked out and closed the door. I then visited another Dr. that asked me if I tried cortisone as the procedure he suggested only works about 50% of the time anyway . Dr. Clerk apparently has not heard of these as 2 years later I still have not had to have surgery. I do have a shot about every 3 months. I feel he was only interested in doing the procedure for the money.

So glad I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Clerk and I feel very confident moving forward with surgery with him as my surgeon.

Office staff nice enough but completely unorganized. Scheduled a surgery a month out only to have the doc reorganize his schedule less than a week before surgery, putting surgery two days before Christmas. Not very professional.

Great DOC! He helped my 4 year old with a broken ankle. He explained everything in a way she would understand it making her at ease with everything from the xray to the cast. He was fantastic. Great bedside manner, great diagnostic skills, go see him!

spent about 10 minutes with me, about one minute on the problem area. didn't seem interested in my issue or me wanting to do something other than a cortisone shot or surgery. bedside manner was lacking warmth or caring. said i was morbidly obese, which I am not, because i wouldn't state my weight. I am definitely overweight but my health is not morbidly impacted. I don't fit the definition of morbidly obese.
