Dr. Andrew M Gollup, MD

I’ve been seeing Dr. Gollup regularly for about a year. After my first visit I didn’t think he would be the doctor for me. His personality can be a bit abrasive which can be off-putting to some people obviously. However I think if you give him a chance he will grow on you. That “abrasiveness” comes from a place of him just being no nonsense. He’s a bit unorthodox but IMO he’s a great doctor. My one complaint would be is that he’s not up to date technologically. Hand written scripts and all contact is by telephone, no email/fax.

When I walked into this man's office I thought it was a joke. There was no receptionist - he was the receptionist. Papers all over the place - dirty. Then I walked into the back and that's when I got scared. There was garbage, paper and junk all over the place. His instruments and medical equipment looked like it was from the 70's. How this man got a licence to practice medicine is beyond me. His personality is just as horrible. A terrible experience - I don't understand why or how he still has a practice. I literally could not wait to leave his office. So uncomfortable unprofessional and just down right horrible experience start to end.

Quirky, but A knowledgable professional. Friendly.

I didn't get so far as to even make an appointment with this so called "doctor". Just in the initial phone conversation when I called to see if he was accepting new patients, i was uncomfortable. He asked questions and when I answered them he seemed annoyed that I didn't know the answer and when I told him I had to call back due to someone walking in the room ( I didn't want the person to hear my business) he said, "ummm fine!" He was so unprofessional! Made me feel very uncomfortable just in the conversation. His tone was disgusting to speak to another human being in that manner, especially a patient. DO NOT GO TO THIS MAN! He does not deserve anyone's business.

No nurse on site ... he spent the visit yawning and doesn't remember what you were prescribed.

This doctor's office is littered with papers. You go into an exam room and it's trashed with papers. Very unpleasant experience.

I had a much less than acceptable experience at this Dr 's office. When I entered the Dr. was sitting at the reception desk where he took my info and conducted most of my appt. from. When time came to weigh me he led me to a room that wasn't lit when I entered. (uncomfortable) the light was turned on and the room was a mess w papers all over. Littered w them. I quickly got through the remainder of this experience and requested a referral. Two months later and three phone calls still no referral submitted. One of the phone calls involved dealing w a woman that I later found out to be Rose who after giving her my name three seperate times and being placed on hold returns to the call retelling me the same last name but two different first names. Again, I was telling her each time she put me on hold to check and even spelled it slowly the third time. The referral was still not sent to my specialist.
