She is unprofessional and negligent. She was impossible to schedule with and I wish I had seen someone else. I have never had a worse experience with a medical provider.

I recently had my first ever colonoscopy and endoscopy (double procedure). Dr. Hutzenbuhler and the staff at Wake Endoscopy Center could not have made me feel more confident in their abilities and comfortable throughout the entire process. Having a double procedure for your first ever experience can be somewhat nerve-racking, but the staff walked me through the entire procedure from top to bottom (pun intended) and kept me informed all along the way. I would highly recommend Dr. Hutzenbuhler for any GI needs you may have.

I've been seeing Dr Hutzenbuhler for the past 14 years as recommended by my PCP or as needed for follow up. I have always appreciated her confident professionalism and sense of humor. I am glad to have the opportunity to rate her care and my relationship with her as excellent. I have recommended and will continue to recommend her to friends and family as their needs arise for a competent, friendly professional gastroenterologist.

I had my first ever colonoscopy done a while back. I went with Dr. Hutzenbuhler based on a recommendation from my family physician. I found her and her staff to be very pleasant and thorough. I referred her to my sister for a colonoscopy and my son who has acid-reflux and they both had positive experiences with her as well. I highly recommend her.

Unless you want to be prescribed several meds and not be sure of the reason....keep looking for a better GI. If you want to save your breath from arguing about how YOU feel...avoid Dr. H at all costs. You don’t push surgery on a patient who only has anemia and no other symptoms. Ridiculous waste of time, money, and sanity.

I have read the positive reviews and the negative. I completely agree with the negatives. The longer I was in Dr. H's care, the more ill I became. I was mocked for asking about procedure and medication warnings, then physically paid for it later. When I went to my last appointment for help with these additional painful symptoms, she argued with me to say I wasn't actually in pain or sick. She then demanded that I needed surgery for unrelated reasons, none of which I had. As I refused the surgery, she began to argue more about how I would regret leaving her practice. My new GI has helped me feel well again: my colonoscopy is clear, no more pain, and all of the meds (from Dr. hutzenbuhler) were in fact harming me (as the warnings had said). All I needed was an Acid Reducer.

Over the past 10 years, Dr. Hutzenbuhler has performed four procedures and I have found her and her staff to be extremely professional and competent on each occasion. I would highly recommend her.

My brief association with Dr Hutzenbuhler has been nothing short of outstanding. I suspect I will be dealing with her in the future.
