Dr. Angelo M Ciminiello, MD

I cannot give Dr. Ciminiello and his rockstar team (and I mean everyone at Orthoconnecticut) enough stars!!! Dr. Ciminiello, his PA (Dr. Ackerman), Dr. Wolfe & staff literally saved my right leg from potentially being amputated after being highly misdiagnosed at Somers Orthopedic Surgery Group (by Dr. Stuart Styles). Dr. Ciminiello stepped in with the utmost care, immense knowledge and determination to get me back on both feet after a life-altering injury which I can with incredible gratitude say that he accomplished all the while easing my mind & answering all my questions (even over the phone) and rooting for my recovery every step of the way! If you want professionalism, talent, some much needed laughter and all around excellent care - make an appointment with Dr. Ciminiello!

Terrible. More than likely damages more patients than helps , especially if they are baseball players. Never made it himself, unless parading around providence college in a baseball jacket and self-anointing himself the "godfather" of pc baseball counts.

5 years ago My daughter was diagnosed with patella femoral syndrome. She has been in pain everyday.. We were told by Dr she would grow out of it.. Countless follow up appointments,Physical therapy,MRI We went for second opinion.. Turns out she has a ganglion cyst and never had patella femoral syndrome. My daughter needlessly suffered due to his egotistical incompetence.

Great doctor easy to work with highly understanding I would highly recommend this person and plan to continue to avail myself of his services

Just had shoulder surgery for a labrum tare, bicep tare, rotator cuff damage and bone spurs by Dr. Ciminiello literally a week ago and i'm missing one thing, pain. I feel great. Starting therapy next week. He's been amazing before, during and after the surgery. Spent a ton of time giving me the options regarding non surgical treatments but decided to get it done since I am active with that shoulder. He took time to explain my injury in full detail, going over the MRI, explained the surgery procedure and after surgery went over what was done. I have absolutely no pain, haven't had a need for pain meds, I can't be happier with my decision. Just made me feel comfortable from day 1.

I’ve always received excellent treatment at each appointment. This is the first practice that respects my time by waiting no more than 5 minutes after checking in. I highly recommend Dr. Ciminiello and his team!

Dr. C is the most compassionate doctor. He spends a lot of time with you and really cares about his patients. He has the best bedside manner.

Easy to get an appointment; minimal waiting time in both the waiting room & examining room; X-rays were taken quickly... great place, great DR. - would highly recommend !

Dr. Ciminiello and his staff are absolutely top notch. I was seen for my knee which needed an MRI. Ended up needing surgery and was all fixed up within a week of my initial appointment. He took his time to explain everything to me and my husband about my treatment options and recovery. He has a wonderful bedside manner and his staff is exceptional! I have recommended his expertise to several of my family & friends with no complaints!
