Dr. Anil Kumar Badhwar, MD

This "office" is disorganized, can't keep patient and pharmacy records together, constantly confuses appointments, messes up prescriptions after lengthy delays (causing a life threatening situation in this circumstance about which he has no concern) and shares misinformation with coordinating physicians. Furthermore, while the doctor is busy being "important" (his words) the patients are apparently expendable.

Dr. Badhwar was professional but had a good sense of humor. He also had excellent bedside manners. He was very knowledgeable and explained things to me very clearly. I would recommend his services to anyone suffering from allergies and etc.

Excellent Doctor and staff

I took my son to see him at the Diagnostic Clinic in Batesville and waited 2.5 hours in the waiting room, so we left without seeing the doctor.

Dr. Badhwar is an excellent physician that actually takes the time to listen to your problems and isn't afraid to think outside the box. If he's not sure, or it goes beyond his ken, he'll make sure you get the referrals you need to get an accurate answer.

This Doctor must have his friends rating him. He saw my son a few times because he worked in the pediatrics office at the base hospital and would see our son on sick appointments when his regular pediatrician wasn't available. His bedside manner is HORRID, especially if you're a woman or a child. I thought it was in my head until I talked to other friends who either moved their kids off base or refused to see him anymore because of the way he treated them. He was always really respectful and nice to my husband, really snide and rude to me. The way that he spoke to me and treated me while my husband was present made my husband angry, and he's not someone who angers easily. My friends that took their kids on base confirmed this, indicating that they had had similar experiences when their husbands were present for appointments. My son had what he kept diagnosing as "colic" even though it was far outside the parameters for normal colic. We later found out that my son has Autism and… we're pretty positive the "colic" as diagnosed was actually over-stimulation because my son has a sensory processing issue- although there's no way he could have known about the autism, he certainly could have done more to try and figure out something that was going on. Instead he treated me like some overreacting Mother who needed to get over it and deal. When we kept telling him "Something is REALLY wrong here, he cries for 6+ hours EVERY DAY and he's nearly six months old he just rolled his eyes and told us it would go away. Even after my son was over three months which is outside the age of colic normally he refused to look into any other possibilities for what could be causing the issue and just treated me like I was stupid and hysterical (I wasn't either, I WAS exhausted). Once when he saw my son. who was three months old at the time, for the "colic," he snapped at my son to "SHUT UP!" because he started crying after we took his clothes off on the exam table. He then informed me I need to "control my child" MY THREE MONTH OLD and make him "STOP CRYING" because as he said "I'm JUST DOING MY JOB AND HE NEEDS TO LET ME AND STOP CRYING LIKE I'M DOING SOMETHING WRONG!" I pointed out that my son was crying because it was his only way to communicate since he was only three months old and he was likely cold since he was naked on an exam table, and I pointed out that the Dr. refused to warm up anything before touching it to my son's skin. It was like watching a toddler in the throes of the terrible two's with this jerk's tantrum about my son crying. Ugh. About six months ago after my son had some weird reactions to mosquito bites we ended up having to see him because he was the only Dr. available. My son was 3 1/2 and had recently been diagnosed with Autism. His pediatrician had asked if I'd bring a copy of all the evaluations so she could keep a copy in his medical file because she wasn't getting them from the specialists. When I gave them to Dr. Badwhar to put in his file he refused and tried to deny that my son had autism which was ridiculous. He actually tried to argue with me about the diagnosis (even though he has no training specialty with kids with spectrum disorders or developmental disabilities). The tests were done twice, by two seperate teams, on two seperate occasions, who worked for two different places and did not confer with each other. Dr. Badwhar somehow seemed to think that he, with no training, had a better grasp on ASD then did the total of five different behavior specialists. Dr. Badwhar tried to insinuate that because my son was high functioning he couldn't have autism. He refused to listen, or read the evaluations or diagnosis paperwork despite the fact that my sons pediatrican was in aggreement with the findings, as were we as his parents, and his many therapists he was seeing for developmental delays. Dr Badwhar decided that he could "tell" if my son was autistic and started trying to do his owncrazy autism test on my son to prove that he wasn't autistic. He started being rude to my son when my son wasn't answering his questions to his liking (my son struggles with "wh" questions, which is common for kids with ASD). This guy is not worth the paper his degree came on. He needs to learn some patient relation skills, and stop treating his patients and their parents badly or he won't have a practice much longer.

We have seen Dr. Badhwar for all our health care needs since 2003. The waiting time in his clinic is very short (under 10 min.). Unlike most other physicians, he explains your medical condition very well and answers all your questions. The best part is that he has Saturday Appointments. A few times when we needed him outside his Office Hours, he has been very prompt in returning our calls and taking care of our family.
