Dr. Mitzi Ann Washington, MD

Her staff is rea l friendly and courteous. However, I do not a though she has taken adequate care of my child. She doesn't listen to you. It is hard to get a referral for anything from her. I was very disappointed. It's extremely hard to get an appointment with her and the wait time is absolutely riduculus.

I liked the way they treat you and how they know what they are doing.

I'm not one of those parents who is completely against prescription drugs. I know that there are uses for them, etc. However, Mitzi Washington has made a point to prescribe any high schooler / college student prescription medicines that are typically abused. She will prescribe Adderall, Xanax, Valium, etc. as long as the child "says the right things" to her. She doesn't question it, she doesn't do any further testing to see if the child truly NEEDS those medicines, she basically just lets them ask for it. She also has a history of prescribing counteractive medications to the same person, and prescribing drugs for long term use that are not at all FDA approved for long term use, such as Klonapin and other Benzodiazepines. Unfortunately dr's like this are what turn our future into drug addicts.

Mitzi is as fine a doctor as they come. She is an excellent diagnostician as well as treatment professional. I would not hesitate to recommend her as a physician for your child or a regular family doctor.
