Dr. Anita Chandra-Puri, MD

Dr Chandra-Puri has been our paediatrician since we had our daughter. It has gotten to the point where we cannot think of anyone else for her to see. She is methodical, personable, and explains everything in detail (a very important thing for us). The NMPG practice in Halsted has beautiful facilities and great people. We are of East Indian origin, and the fact that Dr. Chandra-Puri can understand the things we do - home remedies, food, and cultural differences is a big PLUS! W definitely recommend Dr Chandra-Puri for anyone looking for a paediatrician in Chicago!

So far Excellent for 8 years including after Birth visit!!!!!

Not long ago I had a conversation with her as the on call pediatric NMPG physician. I was EXCEEDINGLY displeased with her. Any mother who feels compelled to call and speak with an on call physician, (which might potentially be a $35 call), deserves respect and APPROPRIATE bedside manner.In answering one question I had, she proceeded to explicate as though I were in a pre~med classroom. I am a mom. My degree is not in the medical arena. She needs to give parents apropos respect. And for goodness sake if she is going to return phone calls as the on call physician; she should LEARN BEDSIDE MANNERS!!!!!!!!!She is a stain on my experiences at NMPG thus far.

We are very confident in our daughter's doctor, Anita Chandra-Puri. She is sweet and to the point. We really love her and know we made the right choice in choosing her. Very happy with her and her group, still 19 mos later.
