Dr. Anna Basile Mellor, MD

Excellent reputation, attentive, kind, thorough; efficient and pleasant office staff.

I have been a long time patient of Dr. Anna Mellor. Yes, I have seen her get busier in the years but that is because she is so good. I have had to use her back up staff and its not quite the same but if I need Dr. Mellor and express that, she has always been there to my aide. Certainly I always want her first and foremost above anyone else but I have used her assistants when my situation is not vital and I can settle for another person. I am ok with that because I trust and know that Dr. Mellor will still oversee my records. That has been proven to me. If ever I really need to see her she has been there for me. I believe she is thorough, caring and listens to my needs at every level. I trust her at the highest level. She is worth the wait and again she has never failed in my eyes She has been with me and my daughter and was there when my 25 year old daughter died of cancer. She was my daughters doctor as well. Dr. Mellor continues to watch over me and my overall health. I… just was under her care and she walked me through 6 weeks of Covid care. She was able to keep me out of the hospital and recovery at home. I thank you Dr Anna Mellor for being a real caring, educated, thorough primary care doctor. Thank you and God Bless

I'm sure Dr. Mellor is well trained, however, she does not have hospital priviledges, her group practice is so large, that much is delegated to her staff. When one of my tests came back indicating a change in medication, an aide called and when I asked what to do,she said, "Well, I guess take two a day instead of one." Uh, no okay by a mile. Patient calls should be made by the doctor. If she's too busy to do that, she can't possibly oversee proper care. As for posters here who complain about wait time, get over it. What you should be commenting on is doctor care. That is what is relevant.

I have been a long time patient of Dr. Mellor's. I think she is a great doctor, but now has a large patient load. Can't remember a time when I didn't have to wait 15-35 minutes. I can never get a same day appointment, have to settle for one of the other doctor's. In my personal case, there has been little follow up. If a test came out okay, I was told that, but not what to do next.
