Dr. Antoine Jean Elhajjar, MD

I have had the worst and he was best , he changed my life to tolerable , so at least i knew when the worst was the worst and there was someone out there to compare them all agianst..i was 26 and i made it to 48 painfully but i was ready to give up 26.. hey how about a doctor that tells you about something before i see it on a commercial and here nothing on anything new . there is life changing stuff now and i feel like its not even important to my " insurance trained cost effective doctors " who dont even think about what might help you. my situation is different and needs a dr. elhajjar like yesterday. i think he invested more than any doctor i met, i knew it when i read the patient history, my grandma understood me more after she read it. i could have an expert opinion and whip it out at moments.. that would have been helpful..

His assistant will insert needles into your skin, then use a machine to test responses. You think you are done, then Elhajjar comes in, STABS you with a LONG needle, and shoots electrical current into your body expecting you to tolerate this torture! This torture is NOT necessary to conduct an EMG! Run away!!

He was rude and talked down to me. He challenged what my diagnosis is. He stated I never had brain tumors removed. He wanted to run tests which I had taken previously. He threaten me. So I put a complaint with my insurance.

Dr. El Hajjar understands my condition and continues to work with me to make life tolerable. He is also willing to deal with the demands of an insurance company trying to evade its obligations. The staff is very professional.

My daughter was sent to do an MRI at a facility and was to let me know if her tumor had grown. Back or not. A minth later an numerous calls daily and I still have no final answer. I was told I would receive a call today, and after 3 hrs I called back and was told he was leaving for the day and would have to look at it in the morning. Unacceptable. His staff blames each other when they are told that I was told to call back. This Dr. Should not have patients stressed out, waiting for a diagnosis. Highly unprofessional and I will make sure the military hospitals NEVER refer patients to him again.

Took the time with me to figure out the problem I had, saw personally that the treatment I needed was started that day. saved me more serious problems and possibly saved my life. All while being courteous personable and friend-like.

Finally a Doctor who listens, cares, and is knowledgeable on all subject.

Dr. Elhajjar is absolutely amazing. After going through so many neurologust I found him to be one of the best doctors I've ever had. He is so thoughtful, understanding, caring and his staff is also amazing. I would recommending to anyone.
