Dr. Arif Amir Alidina, MD

Dr. Aladina identified and monitored thyroid nodules I had for years prior to recommending a partial thyroidectomy when they got larger. The surgery went very well, there was minimal scarring and he was always attentive to my needs. He also removed my daughters tonsils as a young adult and although the post-op period was painful, as he explained it typically is, we were extremely happy with the outcome for her. I highly recommend Dr.Aladina for ENT needs.

Several years back I needed a biopsy of the left lymph nodes near my neck. A questionable cancer. He did the right lymph nodes, and left a horrible scar with muscle weakness on that side. BayCare hospital protected him. I never received an explanation for his mistakes.

My daughter died under his care. Arrogance.

Dr. Alidina has been a wonderful ENT over the years for my entire family. My children saw him from the time they were very young and still see him to this day as adults. My son even comes all the way from Atlanta to see him when he has a problem. He's done surgery on both of my children with fine results. My husband and I also see him from time to time. I recommend him to anyone! He is a good family man and cares for his patients as he would his own.

After 5 years of severe dizziness, imbalance and exhaustion, I was ready to give up on incompetent money hungry doctors who if they didn't have a quick answer. they could substitute a plausible lie. At age 76, I was sick of the above but my podiatrist raved about Dr. Alidina and to my amazement, he restored my faith in being an excellent physician, diagnostician, and quality human being. This was one of the worst expiereces with a Dr. I have ever had. He was dismissive of my boundaries, recommended procedures before he had all necessary information. Follow up notes were inaccurate as to my previous procedures-written after he finally reviewed them. I went for a second opinion and there was NO problem with my sinuses. I almost had two procedures that I did not need. Don't go or please get a second opinion. Sorry Dr. 33 years-time to retire your heart is not in it anymore.

Very pleasant Dr and friendly staff

Have had lifelong ear problems. Went to Dr. Alidina for a simple check up and cleaning. Advised I needed to be knocked out to clean one ear. Was not having any problems before I saw him, but after a 5 minute cleaning under anesthesia, I awoke and now have the most annoying new form of tinnitus I've ever had and I've had them all. Was looking on internet to get his number to call, SINCE HIS OFFICE CERTAINLY DIDN'T BOTHER TO FOLLOW UP, and found articles about two pending lawsuits being brought against him. Decided not to return and two months later received a bill from his office. Won't be paying that one as I had to pay another doctor almost $300 and guess what he did? He ended up cleaning more out of my ear just 30 days later. This doc is a crock and he is rude, abrupt and unprofessional. I got shafted big time seeing this guy and suggest you find someone else.

This has got to be the nastiest doctor I have ever encountered when it comes to "talking" with his patients. It was rush, rush, rush and you need surgery, and someone will be calling you. He was very degrading towards me, therefore I would not allow him to operate on my car, let alone ME. He even had the nerve to tell my daughter that the scope that he put up my nose and down to my throat, "DID NOT HURT", that I was exaggareting. Oh, all of those tears must have been for show. Yeah right! Him and Dr. Barnes are both unprofessional Dr.s. I could have had a better Doctor if I would have gone to the ER.

Five of my six children have had surgery with Dr Alidina in the past 12 1/2years. My 5th child has had surgery four times for tubes and is in need of 5th set. He has dismissed my son and all other children from his practice because of an outstanding bill, (of only 2 months) of $95.00. His care is for the financial stability of his practice and not the wellbeing of his patients. My son is not hearing out of his left ear right now, just got off antibiotics (3 different ones in the last 30 days), and still has fluid build up and Dr Alidina has refused to see him for lack of paying this little bit of money. It is upsetting to me after all these years of him treating my children he could not even give me as much as a personal telephone call to see if there was a problem as to why this hasn't been paid. He is self centered and uncaring. Some physicians become doctors for the purpose of healing and helping others and getting rewarded inwards from helping, then there are the ones that… do it for the prestige and title and self induldence that they are better and above others. By these actions he has shown, it is obviously the latter of the two!
