Ashok Joshi, MD

Dr. Joshi is a fantastic physician. One of the few doctors that actually take the time to sit and explain to his patients.

I've been a patient of Dr Joshi for almost 20 years. He never rushes me out of the room, always engages, Doc provides facts and relatable analogies to help explain certain conditions/issues that make it easy to understand. Just this week Doc saved my life. After traveling for work and visiting an out of town ER, Doc told me I needed to go to the ER at LGH, they did the SAME test the out of town ER did and they found the issue... he didn't hesitate, only apologized that he couldnt get me out of pain for the ride over.

Little bit of a wait time, but that is normal these days. Friendly staff, clean office. Dr J is very friendly and took his time. Recommend him to family and friends.

I've been seeing the Doctor for about 6 years now. He's very personable, spends and really spends the time to get to know me and the issues i'm having. Helped me overcome alcoholism and saved my liver and my life! I get I wait a little when I go in but it's always been worth it. I doubt another doctor would have cared enough to take the time to sort out the problems I was having. Thanks Dr. J.

Very unfriendly mannerism and non-cooperating office staff. Diagnoses problem not based on personal observation, intuition and experience rather based on blood report comparing to CDC recommended diagnosis chart which any one could do.

Firstly, as soo as you enter, you do not see the doctor, so there should be good courtesy staff. But no, the staff is very cruel. I think its Julie Gallagher, how does some tests before you see the doctor. Ohhh my she is aweful. I even spoke about her with the doctor and he seems to be fine with that. He did not have any concerns. He spends lot of time googling in front of you and searching through his internal documents and end up finding nothing. He spends 2 hours with you, not having a penny worth value in it.I finally moved out from his office. For all those who still see him, god show some mercy on you....

I've been seeing the doctor in Billerica for nearly 6 years. The staff is great, friendly, and down to earth. There's always a little bit of a wait for the appointment, but it's definitely worth it! The doctors spends a great amount spends a solid amount of time with me, and gets to know me and my problems! Will be going there for as long as i can!

Both my husband and i have been patients of Dr. Joshi for over 10 years. We find him to be very attentive to each of us. Dr. Joshi is current with research related to our medical conditions and works closely with us to manage our treatment plans. We are very satisfied with his care.
