He is a hypocrite. He sells his opinion to insurance companies to deny treatment for patients he has never seen. He is not a real doctor that cares about helping and healing people.

Some doctors take care of patients, but not this one. He sells his opinion to insurance companies to deny treatment for patients he has never even seen. Disgraceful.

I’m being treated for 15 years and this guy looks at one examine report and decides my treatment that I’m receiving is not adequate. All this to get a buck

Although I been seeing a team of expert doctors for my lumbar spine injury/pain, Doctor (if you can call him that) Gart denied my doctors request for the initial and most basic proceedure required. Gart has never once seen me. What a quack. One of my doctors stated they've NEVER seen an approval from Gart for ANY proceedure when he is used as a advisor for insurance companies.

I've going to Dr. Gart for many years, following multiple lumbar spine surgeries. I also have trouble with my cervical spine due to several rear-end car accidents. Dr. Gart never gave up on me. He sent me to a Spine Surgeon who does difficult failed L/S surgeries. The last surgeon saw a very large bone growth, & told me to live with the pain. The new one saw the same bone growth that needed to be removed, but he was up for the challenge. This never would have happened without Dr. Gart's help. He may be a little rough around the edges when he first meets you, but you treat him with respect & kindness, I'm sure you'll have a good relationship Dr. Gart. I go back to see him on Monday, because I passed out a few months ago, finally went to the surgeon, had an MRI & I herniated the disc above my fusion on C/S & there's a big cyst on my L/S. My Spine Doc wants to see what Dr. Gart suggests & so do I, because Dr. Gart won't do a procedure if he doesn't think it will help. That's my kind of… doctor. I hope this has helped you.

Totally didn't help me. Gave me pain meds and kinda sent me on my way. Thanks guy.

Experience was awful. As a professional woman I tend to naturally expect to be treaty with dignity and respect. Not at all the case with Dr. Gart. My advice - find another Doctor that cares, listens and can provide consultation. Dr Gart was rude and condescending . If you have a choice - do not choose Avrom Gart.

He's more concerned with how his hair looks than with helping patients.

Uncaring and always extremely late.
