Dr. Benjamin I-Ming Chu, MD

I had a great experience with Dr. Chu who treated me for shoulder problems (two rotator cuff tears, bone spur, calcium deposits, torn bicep tendon). He was not quick to push surgery and recommended weeks of PT before he concluded that surgery was the only option for me. As a senior baseball player over 70, I felt confident that I would be able to play again after the surgery and re-hab. I am now close to that point and the healing has gone extremely well. Dr. Chu gave me confidence by explaining the entire procedure and was there for me afterwards. At office visits I never felt rushed and was able to ask as many questions as I needed. I would highly recommend him and although I don’t desire more surgery, should something else happen, I would not hesitate to return.

I went to Dr. Chu for a second opinion regarding knee surgery. Dr. Chu evaluated my previous physicians diagnosis and recommended physical therapy instead of surgery and currently I am pain free. He listen to my complaints and took his time with the exam. He is an excellent physician and I highly recommend him! He has a great personality and beside manner!
