Dr. Bernie Parrish II, MD

I was a patient of Dr. Parrish in 00s. Like, 2004-2011. I think back to how well he treated me. I was a messy patient! I had a legit mystery health issues and was dealing with very high anxiety/panic disorder to boot. He never treated me like a hysterical girl like so many other providers (I had blood clots, but a few other drs actually laughed at me when I suggested it was a blood clot!! Oopsie it actually was a DVT). He was patient and walked that fine line of validating my concerns, ordering tests but also trying to help support me in not letting panic/anxiety dictate treatment. I’m now a provider in psychiatry, and I can see how important his work was at a pivotal age. I keep meaning to write a letter thanking him, But this will probably be the closest i get. Yay for Dr Parrish

Worst Dr. I have ever had. Actually copped an attitude with me in his office because I wouldn't take the crappy pills he was trying to give me for PTSD, from the military, he's not a Psychiatrist!!! I asked him to be referred to a Psychiatrist and he asked me if I even knew one. What the...........this guys a peice of work.......stick to you're specialty.......and let the therapists do there job!!!!!! You are not all knowing. Next time you have a patient in your office with PTSD you might want to be mindful of how you talk to them......I just walked out and fired you..... .the next time you might not get so lucky!!!!

Dr. Parrish is very thorough and professional. He has a pleasant manner and caring staff. Dr. Parrish is not afraid to look things up if he doesn't know the answer - which is rare. He do "homework" before a visit to discuss potential concerns with your chart.

Dr. Parrish is the one of the smartest and most caring family physicians in the nation. His nurse is excellent, as well. The office staff could be more efficient, but they're still above average in this city.

appreciated his very courteous staff & was pleasantly surprised when Dr. Parrish himself called to check on how the chng in meds were working. He's a knowledgeable Dr. & cares about saving me money by what meds are used. I highly recommend him.

I have used the services of Dr. Parrish for over 10 years. Just moved out of the area and will be hard pressed to find another physician that I can trust like I did with him. Accurate diagnosis, and very caring to make certain your medical problems were treated as completely as possible.

I have been a patient of Dr Parrish for several years. He is empathetic and prifessional, always takes the time to listen to my needs and asks as many questions as needed to identify my problems. He treats our whole family. I would highly recommend him for a primary care doctor.

He always asks "What would you like to take for this?" Isn't that why we pay the doctor?
