Dr. Beth Ann Jester, MD

I like Dr. Jester but when I had something taken off my nose, she recommended that I have the MOHS procedure which Dr. Reisinger uses her office to do. I had one slice taken from my nose and it was negative. The bill to my insurance was $1300!! They paid 150 and I was billed over $700. No one suggested I check to see what it would cost and that seems like a really bad oversight!

I have been going to Dr Jester for about seven years and have been well satisfied.

Difficult and unforgiving office. I had a funeral in the family and overlooked the appointment. When I tried to reschedule, I was told that they wouldn't see me since I failed to meet the previous appointment. Santa Fe needs more dermatologists.

I missed the initial appointment due to family complications. Made a second appointment and they told me to come in early to fill out the required initial paperwork. Once I arrived, the receptionists (2) said that they weren't supposed to see me since I missed the other appointment. Maybe that was their payback? Do yourself a favor and find a Doctor that understands and cares about patient's lives issue and isn't running a boutique about themselves.

There were only 3 providers listed on my insurance provider list. The first had retired, the second wsasnt accepting new paitents and then there was Beth Jester. Her receptionist was rude and refused to acknowledge the fact the were listed as a provider. So I called my insurance and our office HR and both contacted her office to let them know that they were indeed a provider and that any services acquired would be covered and still the receptionist flat out refused to accept my insurance. They mukst really be in dire straights since they would only accept payment upfront. Maybe it has to do with her receptionists lack of customer service skills.

Dr. Jester is the best dermatologist I have ever been to.She takes time to explain everything.Her office staff is helpful and lovely.

Dr. Jester takes the time to listen to your concerns and explain the course of treatment for your condition. I have visited Dr. Jester over 10 times and have never had to wait more than 5 to 10 min after my scheduled appointment time to see her. Her office staff are very courteous and professional.
