Dr. Peterson is compassionate and caring. She takes time to listen if you have questions and asks many of her own to ensure she is covering all your health needs. I highly recommend her.

I have seen Dr. Peterson for five years now, and I wish she could be my primary care doctor. She has helped me through three early miscarriages and two successful pregnancies with preeclampsia. Dr. Peterson is extremely positive, supportive, and caring, and fun to visit. I never feel rushed, and she always encourages questions and discussions. She is genuinely excited when things are going well and offers a sympathetic (and helpful) shoulder to cry on when they are not. It's always clear that she is concerned with not just your physical health, but your emotions and overall well being. She cares about our family and asks about our sons, even though her only responsibility was to get them delivered safely! With both c sections, my recovery was very easy. I also have very minimal scarring. While surgery wasn't my first choice, it was necessary and I am so glad it was Dr. Peterson taking care of me! She kept me calm while the anesthesiologist went to work and kept me well informed… of what was happening throughout the surgery (but didn't share too much-there's some that I don't want to know about!). Surgery is so scary for me, especially while awake, but she made it enjoyable! I was able to hold my son nearly immediately and he was on my chest while they finished up. I was up and walking around quickly and feeling pretty back to normal about a week after delivery. The office staff is great and I never have to wait more than a few minutes to be called back or be seen in the exam room. I've probably changed my insurance 10 times on them, and it's never a problem. Dr. Peterson even worked with me when I was in between plans at the beginning of a pregnancy. It's usually easy to get an appointment. I had to schedule my well woman exam about a month in advance, but she is always ready to get patients in for urgent needs and prenatal appointments. I know I can count on her to be there for me when I need her (she even visited me at the hospital on a weekend when my first son was in the NICU-I suspect she made a special trip just for me). We hope to get pregnant again soon and I am looking forward to doing it all over again with Dr. Peterson. She feels like part of the family!
