Dr. Bich-Thuy Thi Tran, MD

As others have said, Dr. Tran has no bedside manor whatsoever! She pretty much comes into the appointment talking and never takes a breath. She never asks any questions and like others she misdiagnosed me on a very serious condition. My biggest complaint is that every couple of months she refuses to refill my prescriptions until I make an appointment to see her. I would understand if she was doing blood work and or other tests but she doesn’t. It’s just another blab fest where she talks over and down to you for about 10 minutes and makes money. I’m currently searching for a new doctor.

While I can recognize that people look for different things in a physician, Dr Tran fits my needs perfectly. She’s on time, efficient and thorough. I have zero complaints about my visit.

I've been a patient of Dr. Tran's since 2013 and have valued my experience with her and the team at UCLA. I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes for my appointment, parking was simple, and she asked pertinent questions and always answered mine, no matter how simple. Yes, she is quick, and yes, she moves thoroughly...welcome to modern medicine. The team is thorough as is she. As a healthy 55 year old, what I appreciate is that she remembers me despite the fact that she only see me about every 18 months, and gets down to business.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Tran for over 5 years. I couldn’t agree more with the other patients that made reference to her only wanting to discuss one issue at a time for the sake of receiving additional money. She’s notorious for billing patients for unnecessary services that were not rendered. Dr. Tran has misdiagnosed two different health conditions I had; then tried to prove her case by Googling her point. If you value life, AVOID Dr. Tran at all cost!!!!!!!!!

This entire office is a nightmare. Not only is the parking atrocious, you have to park over at ralphs illegally and walk over, but you're treated like a number. Dr. Tran is only out to make loads of money it seems, she herds in patients all day, misses pertinent things and seems to overall hate her job. She needs to be fired. She also missed an obvious and life threatening diagnosis in my friend's family member. So I'm never going back there again. Avoid at all costs.

I don't know if it's just that Dr. Tran's style matches my own, or what. She's super smart, explains things (although she talks a mile-a-minute - I like it, but if you don't, be forewarned), and is cheerful. I've been a patient for at least 10 years.

WORST doctor ever!!!! She is miserable, rushed, and only cares about money, which is why she sees so many patients per day. She missed many diagnoses, and just doesn't care. She has NO bedside manner whatsoever. Avoid dr. BICH-Thuy Tran at ALL COSTS!!!

I would NOT recommend anyone to see Dr. Tran. It has been multiple times where I saw her for severe illness without receiving medicine perception from her. She always told me I would get well on my own. Every time I visited her when I was sick I felt like it was a big waste of my time, i'd be better off just lay in bed resting on my own. I asked her during my visit to diagnose my skin condition in addition to my flu, but she refused for the reason of one item per visit. She asked me to respect other patients who have appointment. Sure! Where are patients? Hello? I didn't see any when I left but I saw her chilling in her office. If you know I am sick, would you be so kind that not having me drive back and forward so that you can charge me twice for my visits. I spent my last bit of energy researching another Dr today so I don't need to see her again.

I have been a patient of hers for years. She is very good and very professional. By the way, my family has her as a Doctor. I would not want any other Doctor but her.

Worst bedside manner of any Dr I have known. Very humiliating for a menopausal women who wants to have hormone blood tests done. Please try and be a little kinder. I would have been more comfortable with my husband in the room. You made me uncomfortable.
