Dr. Bradley Boop, MD

I visited Dr. Bradley Boop, MD, to address my father's Parkinson's diagnosis. Our experience was disappointing and distressing. My dad's health deteriorated rapidly over the course of a few months, from walking to not being able to walk. Dr. Boop dismissed the initial diagnosis of Parkinson's back in March, and we were shocked when my dad had to be admitted to the hospital in May because of his condition. During our latest visit, I tried to engage in a constructive dialogue about a case study I had found during my research. Before I could even mention the case study, Dr. Boop interrupted me, accusing me of questioning his intelligence. He took my query as a personal offense, even though my intent was simply to learn more about how best to help my father. When we tried to discuss possible connections between my dad's chemo and radiation treatments last fall and his current condition, Dr. Boop was dismissive. While he did mention that there is a test to confirm the diagnosis, he stated… that it wouldn't change the treatment plan. When my dad tried to bring up family history regarding Parkinson's, Dr. Boop abruptly ended the conversation with, "I've got to run, thank you." We were looking for compassion and a thoughtful approach to treatment, but what we encountered was a defensive and dismissive attitude. Needless to say, the bedside manner was extremely lacking, and we did not feel listened to or respected. I would not recommend Dr. Bradley Boop to anyone seeking empathetic and attentive care for Parkinson's or other movement disorders.

Have an appointment with Dr Boop today. Found him most pleasant and very informative. Would absolutely recommend him.

He told me that my brain would be better if i lost weight. I’m not over wait. He’s very distracted and not informative. Very odd man.

saw Boop for over a year and it resulted in revealing he does not keep up on latest developments in neurology related conditions and also is sloppy in his testing techniques and this negligence can result in possibly placing patients in harm

Dr. Boop is very nice and friendly. He is not a good listener. Feels like he wants you in and out as fast as possible. I described what all that was going on and he told me on two different occasion that I talk too much. I really feel he could careless. Felt like it is a big waste of my time to see him.

Great doctor who cares and listens to his patients.
