Dr. Brenda Kohn, MD

Terrible experience. I used to see another Endocrinologist before for my son and we changed to Dr. Kohn (due to distance travel), that was the worst choice. Dr. Brenda Kohn had very rude responses to my questions, she just ordered studies for my son and never returned calls for results. Conversations were rushed. I waited long time for my son to be seen and when we got the consultation with her, she did not spend appropriate time during office visit, she treated us with an arrogant attitude. Do not waste your time with her.

My child was born without a pituitary and Dr Kohn diagnosed and treated her. She is amazing brilliant and so kind. My family is forever grateful

She's great. Knowledablge and caring. Her office staff acts in a way that can be described as arrogant and rude.

Terrible !!! Never calls back!! Keeps ordering more tests with no diagnosis!! Her billing staff billed my insurance and totally pulled a scam!!! The whole practice stinks!!!!!! Go elsewhere

Had one visit with her wasn't happy at all made me feel lime I'm a failure.............I will never see her again..............what

Ok first visit, very poor followup. No patience,"I have no time for this nonsense". Very low tolerance for questions or second opinions.

Impossible to get a hold of for a question. Left message with office staff that I had a general question. Waited a week, then called fifteen times in six months never to receive a call back about a prescription.

This doctor saw my daughter for a few years and totally missed what I now know is a serious metabolic disorder that just would have taken a little time and effort to find. We typically waited 3 hours to see her just get placated when it seemed clear that there was developing pathology. Her blood tests were alarming on many counts. I read up enough to know that there were real problems. It's been years later and thankfully we found an endocrinologist who can diagnose and treat her correctly, but some changes that have happened over severlyears in her body and brain, radical changes, may be permanent.

Dr. Kohn saved my son's life when he was born. She was called in to see my son who was hospitalized in the newborn intensive care unit.The doctors could not understand why he was so ill.It was only later that I understood that she saved his life.My son continues under her care and takes medication daily, but he is a normal and well-adjusted boy. I think of Dr. Kohn every day.

Dr. Kohn was amazing with my daughter. Such a thorough exam and she was very conscientious about her age and was able to work out chatting with us (the parents) without upsetting her (tween). Her follow-up was equally as thorough and good. Would definitely recommend her - but yes, she has a demanding schedule and the office can be difficult - aren't all NY doc offices a little difficult?
