Dr. Brenda D Panzera, MD

Terrible experience at work this office. Dr Panzara is thought to be a good doctor. I didn’t see it. She is cold and just treats the illness not me. The office staff is rude and patronizing. Skip this doctor and the office.

I waited more than an hour to spend less than 10 min with the doctor, which she billed as a "detailed office visit". The office had run my insurance card, said they accepted my insurance, and accepted my copay. Then they billed me another $150, mostly for that nonexistent "detailed" visit. Bunch of crooks exploiting sick people and the most burned out nursing and office workers I have ever seen. AVOID

Dr. Panzera is a gem, one in a million. She is super smart and has a very kind heart and is warm and caring with her patients. She really wants the best in care for them. the office is busy, but the staff is super professional and helpful, from the front desk to the lab. having cancer can be terrifying, but having a great doctor like Dr. Panzera in your corner makes it easier for sure.

I was at the office today. The staff was competent and pleasant. However the office is a disaster zone. The garbage cans were overflowing. The furniture was worn old and did not look clean. The worst part was the inappropriate sitting area area for infusions. The room was small and cramped. The chairs did not have the proper arm rest to support your arm, although the room was so cramped with chairs right on top of each other that there would have been no room for a proper arm rest. I literally had my hand extended for an hour and a half on the narrow arm rest and in an uncomfortable chair. The reviews all speak about the excellent medical care, but for me part of patient care in making sure that treatment takes place in an appropriate setting.

Its been more than ten years since Dr. Panzera treated me for very late stage cancer. After surgery she treated me at her office for 6 months with very intense chemotherapy. The odds were not in my favor, but because of her deep knowledge and steady guidance I recuperated fully. She also showed so much care and compassion that I could not have asked for a better doctor. I recommend her fully and wish all the best to her and her patients!

Dr.Penzera was OK, but not stellar enough as a doctor to encourage my continued use of her services. When I asked about treatment options she gave me statistical data and basic information, but when I asked what she felt I should do, she actually skirted the issue. It seemed to me that she didn't want to take responsibility for guiding me into any particular direction, just as it seemed that I would have to make the decision on my own. Though, of course, patient decisions are a requirement with cancer, having the expert guidance of a doctor that specializes in it is key. It's great to give me statistical data, but not great when the guidance isn't there and that one is left up to their own devices to figure out the next course of action.Also, though she stipulated that her office would follow up with me within a specific allotted amount of time, it has been more than 4 months since I last saw her. I find it amusing to say the least and it confirms that I won't use her ever again.I want… a doctor that is NOT afraid to make recommendations and is willing to step out of the box to devise a treatment option, and NOT run away, while forcing me to do her work for her.
