Dr. Brian David Shafer, DO

I have been seeing DR. Shaffer for over two years--I feel that he truly cares about my health issues, BUT, recently, his NP ms. Calli Montgomery, sent me to Holston Hospital. Kingsport and the Social Worker asked me WHY AM I HERE--I stated Ms. Montgomery stated I HAVE A VERY BAD URINE INFECTION and a bad wound on my back!! SIX hours NEVER SAW THE DOCTOR IN THE ER!! lots of blood work, urine culture, NEVER CHECKED the wound etc. LEFT messages for Dr. Shaffer's NP has not several times--still waiting for assistance. I was told they were going to set me up for the proper IVs, BUT WHEN and to NOT take medication===I AM 80 and I feel neglected by Ms. Callie. Will try again and pray she sets up the IVs for me asap, In addition to the infection, chills, very sick

Still waiting for my appointment after waiting more than an hour and a half.... Still waiting. Horrible. Unprofessional.

Horrible. He, and the facility, do not care about their patients, ONLY THE MONEY. They aren't professional. They don't keep appointments. When I asked how come I am still waiting, 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment, three personnel came out to bully me. It was very intimidating. They did that on purpose. They don't care about your time. It has no value to him/them.

Average waiting time. Pleasant demeanor. Asked almost no questions about my health. Spent approximately 10 minutes with me. Left me with the impression of a general lack of concern for my health.
