I have a history of fibroids causing abnormal vaginal bleeding. I had endometrial ablation which helped somewhat but unfortunately, the bleeding continued. OBGYN suggested a hysterectomy as the last resort and the only option available for me. I was not ready for a major surgery and started to look for a second opinion. I found Dr. Winner. She suggested a hysteroscopy with myosure. During the procedure she was able to remove two fibroids. The procedure went very smoothly and I felt fine the next day (no pain/minimal discharge). So far, I am not experiencing any more abnormal bleeding. I was very pleased with the outcome and the service that I received.

Dr. Winner is very kind, attentive to detail , thorough and deeply caring for your situation. She was the first doctor in five years to take me seriously. My stage 4 endometriosis had grown back for a second time. When I heard she wanted to see me and take this case right away, I knew I was going to be in good hands. Even though she knew how badly I wanted more children, she’s very honest and puts you first. She saved my life. I really appreciate all the testing she wanted me to have. Have you ever gone to a doctor who remembers the tiny details of your case every time you visit with them? I find that is more rare then you would think, which is what makes Dr. Winner such a gem! Not only is she organized and detail-oriented, she is a tremendous person and surgeon. Highly recommend her for your endometriosis and surgical needs.

Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomy (Uterus, Tubes, Cervix) 8 weeks ago by Dr. Winner at Missouri Baptist. I was so pleased and impressed with Dr. Winner, the non-invasiveness of the procedure, and the ease of recovery, that it's unimaginable. Frankly, she changed my life and gave me hope for a future. Dr. Winner is a true “winner” :) she performed a laparoscopic hysterectomy and removed a very large tumor from my stomach. She was easy going, explained and answered my questions with ease and accuracy and did a great job overall with my surgery! She returned calls immediately and her staff is amazing. It says a lot about a Dr. when she/he has earned the respect of the staff. I would highly recommend Dr. Winner to anyone. Laparoscopic was much less invasive and she is a highly trained expert!

I highly recommend Dr. Winner as a physician and as a surgeon. She is incredibly knowledgeable, she explains things thoroughly and well, and she takes as much time with you as you need. Dr. Winner is a masterful surgeon and I am beyond grateful to have found her! After being told that I had “one option” for a large fibroid by two other ob/gyns, I did my own (extensive) research. That research led me to this talented specialist, Dr. Winner! She provided me much information about the range of options, including one (myomectomy) not previously mentioned by any other physician. This allowed me to retain my fertility and keep my otherwise healthy organs. Not only did she remove a very large fibroid, she did so laparoscopically!! It is a pleasure to highly recommend Dr. Brooke Winner for minimally invasive GYN services. I recently was diagnosed with multiple fibroids tumors in and on my uterus. In the opinion of several physicians, the tumors could not be removed laparoscopically due to the size. I was referred to the Barnes-Jewish Center for Outpatient Health Obstetrics and Gynecology clinic. Ultimately I received care from Dr. Winner. Dr. Winter was very thorough with her examination and explanation of my various options. I was extremely appreciative of the collaborative approach that she took with my treatment. I ultimately choose the hysterectomy option and Dr. Winner was supportive and explained all of the options. Her bedside manner and professional behavior is consistent with her treatment philosophy. Dr. Winner is very serious and sincere about transforming women's health care. My quality of life matters and more importantly Dr. Winner thought so as well. Needless to say, I was very… pleased with the outcome and the service that I received.

My regular OBGYN had noted a large fibroid cyst, and I had an MRI to measure its size. My doctor thought it could not be removed laproscopically, and I asked for a referral to a surgeon. Dr. Winner reviewed my MRI before seeing me, which I appreciated. She was straightforward in explaining the surgery. My surgery was successful, I actually left the hospital that same day, and I had virtually no pain afterward. I can highly recommend her.
