Dr. Carl R Barr, DO

Love this doctor who is very smart, detailed, thorough, caring, and capable. He makes sure all of my daughter's needs are met, and he noticed things about my daughter's condition other doctors didn't observe. The office staff is very friendly, however they sometimes mix things up. Dr. Barr is worth dealing with any office issues...

Dr. Barr is extremely caring. He is very considerate to my daughter who has Rett Syndrome, epilepsy and cerebral palsy. He is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I feel so fortunate to have him help me take care of my precious girl. Also, he accepts CMS.

My child sees dr Barr for severe migraine headaches, cerebral palsy monitoring and adhd. We have been seeing dr Barr for approx 18 months, every 90 days. Twice I have taken my son to the office for his scheduled appointment and have been told he has no appointment scheduled. The first time, I was able to produce the appointment card and he was "squeezed in" to the schedule though we had to wait nearly 2.5 hours. Today, I drove in I-4 traffic at 7:00 am and was again told my son had no appointment. Unfortunately, I did not have the appointment card with me to prove an appointment had been scheduled. I drove an hour home and found the card, called the office and was offered no apology whatsoever. My child has missed 10 days of school in the last month due to behavioral issues and debilitating headaches. This appointment was made to discuss medication changes so my child is able to function on daily basis without pain. In the past, I have had to make up to 7 phone calls to the office to… get prescriptions refilled and we have only seen dr Barr once, at our initial visit. Since then, we see Adeline, the nurse practitioner which is ok. But it would be nice if dr Barr checked in on his patients every few visits. I am really disappointed in the way we were treated today. I will be looking for a new neuro asap.

Dr Barr is an excellent neurologist! As a nurse myself, I would recommend him to any parent of a child that has developmental delays or history of seizures!

An above average medical facility with a great office staff. I will recommend family and friends. I also want to give credit to the doctor and office staff for professionally staying on course when presented with my child's unrealistic and aggressive non custodial parent. My hats off to you keep up the great work!

I think that office is terrible and manger is rude and my son can get better care by his mom and I would never tell any body come that office and I hope it gets shut down and Christine the only one has good attitude and moms and parents that have kids on special needs have enough deal with I used love office it too much drama we all too busy for and my son shouldn't be seeing different doctors

My daughter has been seen a handful of times at this office. The front office, so cold. I'm very confused with the awesome reviews about the staff. My experience, front office is not accommodating. We saw Dr. Barr once and have been pushed off on the PA. We will be looking for another pediatric neurologist as I want my child to be seen by the DR, not PA.

My son was seen by Dr. Barr. I was happy with the service that my family received by the staff and doctor. I needed an appointment soon and the staff were kind and got me an appointment very fast. Walking in the door gave me a home feeling. The staff had smiles on their faces and were able to help me to their best ability. Thank you for caring.

The practice is not perfect but they are amazing. From the front to the back staff they are all warm and caring. They do their best to make sure that we are taken care of. I am grateful to have found a physician that cares and believes in what they say. My two children are Autistic. A handful!Thank you for all you do.

Everyone in the office is kind and caring. I like that they are organized and know what they are talking about because I sure don't, especially about my son and dealing with the insurance and hospital. I am glad to be a patient of Dr. Barr.Oh by the way, who wrote the negative remarks about Dr. Barr. I am Hispanic and have been taking my son to this office for a year now. They are a diverse culture practice which is what I like the most because they treat me well. It is nice to visit as office that cares for all cultures.
