Dr. Celeste A Jacque, MD

I saw Dr. Jacque in 2013 on the recommendation from my therapist. I should never have gone. She acted like she didn't believe anything I said or took anything seriously because I was a highschool girl. I was 18 and had experienced anxiety, depression, and other issues since the third grade. The Dr. made it clear that she did not provide therapy and was an MD. She diagnosed me with panic disorder (incorrect) and, though I scored the "score of a depressed person" on her paper depression test, she said "I'm not going to diagnose you with depression because it sounds like you have a handle on that." I was severely depressed and had considered taking my life many times. I also mentioned that I'd noticed periods of depression and emotional disturbance that lasted around two weeks that weren't right before my period like PMS is. She gave me a weird look, went silent, and then said "that's nothing." She put me on an SSRI that later caused a massive bipolar episode. I honestly don't know how… this person is in service as a psychiatrist.

She is the worst doctor ever. She never helped me with my anxiety issues after I had panic attack frequently. I told her about my issue every time and she didn’t want to listen all she did was keep upping my dose in medication which made me condition way worse. She always was so rude when I tried to talk to her about my problems. There was a time where I was so depressed and she didn’t want to even listen. Worst doctor ever wouldn’t recommend her to anyone if you are depressed or have severe anxiety

Very thorough in history and evaluation - very helpful with meds

If you aren't depressed now, you will be after you meet her. Absolutely NO manners, rapport, cordiality or pleasantry. Insolent and rude. Lacks ALL bedside manner. Rarely, if ever, makes any eye contact; rather she types and types and then reads and reviews her reports. After 50 minutes, she looked up from her typewriter and asked the wall "what is your first name ?"

She is excellent in prescribing medications. I was in a bad place when I started to see her. I feel fortunate I was able to become a patient of hers.

After years of no answers and no treatment, the diagnosis was made by this Dr. The treatment instituted much to my relief.

After a few years of getting all the wrong answers, she asked some rather interesting questions that no one else felt necessary... and NAILLED IT! I was not an easy diagnosis. I do not offer information. I'll answer any question honestly. Thankful that she asked the right ones. I am 65 years old. Started at 49. Basically "maintenance" now. Look forward to my "visits". Staff overly friendly. BE ON TIME! She plays fair. Very short waits, if any... will not waste your time if the patient before you is late. Always accommodating. Always interested in what you have to say. Listens well. Very intelligent. Easily understood.

She was great with my child. She responds quickly when called. Hard to get an initial appt but once accepted into the practice, she is excellent. I trust her and mt child trust her. Highly respected in her field. Be warned - Do not be late. She run a timely practice and 5 min late runs into your time- she does not delay other patients.

My teenage daughter likes this doctor even thought she disliked others. She comes across a little cold at first, but she does have valid caring for her patients and will spend the time to listen to you if you communicate with her. I have heard good feedback from others about her before going there.

I can't stand this woman.
