Dr Baxter is the worst DR. I've ever been too. Very arrogant when asked questions and offered me 2 treatments for my OAB. One was $400 a month and the other was a Botox shot. He did not tell me what the "adverse" response could be to the Botox shot nor did he advise me to up my water intake. The shot was WAY TO MUCH for my body and was sick immediately. I called his office, wrote to him NO RESPONSE. I went on a trip the day after the shot and could NOT URINATE. I freaked out and called the office and was told to come in and get a catheter. WHAT? I was away on a vacation and not in Los Angeles. My life and health then proceeded to spiral downwards. I got home I went back to see him and he was dismissive. I have been sick 10 months from the time I received the shot AND now have extreme Back Pain/nerve pain from having to squeeze and bear down to urinate. I came out of his treatment worse than I went in. He does not have ANY BEDSIDE MANNER_ HE TOLD ME IT WAS MY FAULT. WORST DR… ever>>> I have gone to multiple Drs regarding this problem trying to get out of pain to get my life back. I had to have 2 epidural shots for the extreme pain in my back that the SHOT caused. BTW I''M very petite and he gave me the same amount of Botox as would be advised for the normal sized person. What a terrible dr. IF YOU HAVE NEED A UROLOGIST STAY AWAY FROM HIM. the site made me put a star in - obvi- he would really get none

Dr. Baxter is an incredible doctor. After being tossed around from a few doctors with misdiagnoses along the way, he really took the time to listen to my every symptom, make me comfortable with the treatment plan he had in mind, let both my husband and I ask a ton of questions, and stayed with me in the room for over 30 mins (when most doctors are in and out within 5-10 minutes.) I've also sent him a ton of messages via the online portal and he's answered each one very promptly. He made me very comfortable when he did a procedure on me and his treatment plan actually worked to fix the chronic pain I'd been experiencing for 1.5 years by that point. His office at UCLA is amazing and I'm so grateful to have found him.

Dr Baxter was prompt, kind, very knowledgeable and took his time explaining things to me. It was his first time meeting me and it felt like I had been a patient of his forever. When I needed an additional procedure, he went the extra mile to fit it in to the same day so that I didn't have to come back. I would recommend this dr. in a heartbeat, and very grateful for his prompt care and expertise.

Thank you so much Dr. Baxter for helping me with my problem. I am recovering from my surgery and I already see the huge difference. You have changed my life and restored my confidence affected by my problem. Go run to see Dr. Baxter, he is very professional and excellent!

Dr. Baxter explained the aspects of bi-polar TURP and what I could expect with this procedure. His confidence and positive attitude were infectious. I look forward to treating with him.

The receptionist was rude and deliberate in avoiding my presence. She walk away from the desk when she saw me enter the room, and did not return for approx. 10 min. When she returned her mannerism was poor. She actually looked like she was annoyed by my existence.

Not happy with my visit at this Urologist at all. He did a very poor job at diagnoses and treating my issue. Very Bad medical decisions and treatment causing me further pain and suffering.

This doctor should not be practicing medicine! My mother went to this quack for some bladder issues. He suggested Botox to be injected into her bladder. She had success for about 2 months, but then his wise decision was to do it again and inject MORE Botox and it will last longer, he said. She did, but now her bladder is so relaxed she can't empty it completely! He injected way too much and will not take responsibility for it! She has had infection after infection, after telling her she doesn't have a bladder infection.She is in the hospital right now, for the second time, with kidney damage, due to all the toxins that have built up because of this idiot! My daughter in law took her for her appointment and was asking questions and he would not look her in the eyes! He kept looking all around him, at the ceiling,at the floor, but not at her when answering questions.Guilty!! He does not return phone calls either. She called everyday for 3 days....finally he called back.Really, Dr.? This… guy doesn't even deserve 1 star but I couldn't choose 0! My mother is 83 years young and doesn't deserve to be treated this way!!!
