I’ve had the privilege of being a patient of Dr Ascher-Walsh for many years as I struggled with fibroids and endometriosis. I had a laparoscopic hysterectomy 2 weeks ago. I can not express enough gratitude for the exceptional care and professionalism I experienced throughout the entire process.His surgical skill is truly commendable. While others had said “you have a million fibroids you should have your uterus removed” or “I’d remove your uterus right now” he instead skillfully removed each one (22) during my abdominal myomectomy. I feel incredibly blessed & lucky to have learned of him from a previous patient of his. And I had no choice, it was either bleed to death or have surgery. THANK YOU x 100!!! PS: I was an in-patient and the whole staff at Mt Sinai was great.

The surgery he performed was a failure and he tried to convince her it was successful. She is now incontinent and is having many other complications and his follow up care is poor - when I spoke to him he seems like a con artist speaking very nicely and trying to not admit any wrong. He and his staff prescribed 9 different antibiotic in 7 months and she is still walking around with a terrible infection, and Dr. Walsh is now saying that is what she has to get used to. He is maintaining his surgery was a success when it was a failure.

Had a scheduled surgery and ended up having 2 back to back surgeries and in ICU. Lost lot of blood, needed transfusions. Excrutiatingly slow, painful recovery way beyond expected recovery time. expressed concern re my specific condition presurgery but was told he’s done countless surgeries as mine. Do feel more specific attention to individual condition/case couldve helped. Dr and staff during time in ICU was great. Post op, had symptoms way beyond expected time, later told to see primary as they’re not related to surgery. Saw 2 primary drs and both said symptoms are surgery related and I shld still be following up w surgeon..
