Dr. Chingchai Wanidworanun, MD

I recently moved and decided to go to a new doctor closer to me. After one meeting with Dr. Wanidworanun, I am just shocked about the way he handles new patients and honestly the way he goes about his business. I have been on a specific medication for several years now, and I wanted to find a new doctor who could consistently write my prescriptions alongside being a general practitioner. During our initial consult, when I handed him the documents proving my prescription he gave me the 3rd degree for about 45 minutes and interrogated me about my history with the medication to an unnecessary degree. The documentation was in the papers, but he was filling out some sort of survey that no Doctor I have ever been to (even in the DMV) has ever had to use before. Finally, before I could leave with my prescription, he claimed a certain test was required. I figured it wasn't that big of a deal, and that it wouldn't add much unnecessary cost. One 200 dollar bill later, I reached out to a… previous doctor of mine and the test was COMPLETELY unnecessary. This 200 dollar bill was on top of another nearly 200 dollar bill. I was in his office for 45 minutes and he simply read through a survey of questions and classified it as a "complicated diagnosis" in his billing. Highly recommend avoiding this practice unfortunately. I am taking my business elsewhere.

Dr. Chingchai is one of the nicest and fastest without rushing doctor I've been to. I've never waited more than five minutes before being seen. He returns calls in a timely manner. He is pleasant and takes his time. I felt that he genuinely cares.

Before moving back to my home state of Ohio I lived in Alexandria Va and Dr Wanid was my family doctor. Without hesitation I can say he was always a good doctor and friend to me. He took care of my needs like I was his only patient. It's to bad he is not practicing in Dayton because I would certainly have him taking care of me. Dr Wanid is kind, caring and thorough in his work. I miss him and his nurse Vickie.

This is the best doctor I have ever had. He is very thorough with his examination and will not hesitate to write a referral to a specialist. This is a doctor who takes time to give you a holisitic diagnosis on all factors of a condition and he explains things thoroughly without overwhelming you. He has found things out about me that I was not aware of. He will follow up with calls on any blood test without you having to call him. I have never trusted a doctor as much as I trust him.
