Dr. Christian Charles Mcelhinney, MD

Both my wife and I have been treated by Dr. McElhinney and found that his professional knowledge/skills, bedside manner, explanations, and time spent with us was excellent. His staff is quite upbeat, professional and knowledgeable. This is an outstanding group of professionals who are encouraging with the patient and we highly recommend Dr. McElhinney and his staff to anyone suffering from gastroenterology issues.

I highly recommend Dr. McElhinney, he explains issues very clearly, is kind and good hearted. I refer people to him anytime I can. His scheduling assistant, Sherri is awesome as well.

A very distressing situation was made as comfortable as possible thanks to the exemplary service of Dr. McElhinney. After getting positive Cologuard results and having some other pertinent concerns, I researched physicians in the field before selecting Dr. McElhinney. What a smart move. He was excellent.

Dr. McElhinney has been my gastroenterologist for years now. During a severe bout of pancreatitis, he was brought in to discover the cause. He immediately figured out the root cause and did urgent surgery on me. He also made sure that my twenty-something son got the emergency help and the urgent surgery he needed last year when no one realized the extent of his gastric distress. We feel not only helped but RESPECTED and listened to by Dr. McElhinney and his staff, and will continue to go there for any issues that are his specialty. Thank you!

The scheduling for this doctor is ridiculous. In 3 years we have never reached a live person during the day. We always have to go through an answering service, leave a message and then wait for someone to call us back. We have waited for a few hours, a few days, and even a few months without a call back in the last year. Just unacceptable. The Dr. Seems like a very nice guy, but maybe needs to hire a full time person to do his scheduling?
