Dr. Christopher M Billingslea, DO

Blew me off for over a hour... no one came in to tell me he was busy... feels like your cattle just moves you through the process...very disappointing

“Doctor” (though he shouldn’t be called by this title) Billingslea is one of the worst providers I have ever encountered in my personal experience & as a healthcare provider myself with over 20 years of experience in direct practice. He barley acknowledged my husband (the patient) when entering the exam room, didn’t use his name once, was dismissive, rude, made virtually no eye contact, refused to do a thorough exam for the chief complaint upon presentation, flat out stated he doesn’t know anything about certain meds or ailments, rolled his eyes in a very obvious manner as if he was being inconvenienced (& I pay cash), and treated my husband as if he was subhuman. He claims to have not received lab results that were handed to him in an office visit six weeks prior and at which time he said the numbers “look good” acting even more inconvenienced when trying to locate them in his computer (which he was having trouble operating & openly saying how much he “hates computers”). His office… staff has not returned phone calls, claims to have not received faxes sent for which a confirmation states it was sent successfully, doesn’t seem to even know where they go to though there is only one fax number. We have experienced long hold times to speak with someone & don’t call between 12-1p bc the office is closed for lunch. This “person” is not a physician, he is harming first & not healing or helping let alone does not appear to care at all about the patient. I will absolutely never return to his office and I will tell anyone who asks truth about his extremely poor “health care” which is neither health nor care. I am disgusted that he can show his face and call himself a doctor. He is a disgrace to the entire healthcare system.

I am in agreement here with the reviews that say that Dr. Billingslea does not take kindly to patients that have knowledge about their conditions. His attitude is a roll of the eyes, almost in a mocking fashion, as if the patient does not know what they are talking about. He did not even give me a thorough check up for the reason that I had come in to see him, and it appeared he did not even read my chart of past visits and things had to be continually repeated. Time to find a new doctor that is still interested in helping his patients and not listening to himself talk.

Completely ignored the reason I came in. If you come in with knowledge of your illness the be prepared for terrible bedside manner. Like how dare you question him... He doesnt seem like a very knowledgable doctor and very unwilling to take on things he doesnt know

I have been seeing Dr. Billingslea for MANY years and have never had a back experience with him. He is very compassionate yet straight up with the facts.

A kind, caring and professional individual!

Dr Billingslea is courteous, professional and intuitive. His office is quick and efficient. I hate to go to the doctors office but at least I can count on it being a short visit so I can get on with my day.

Is always willing to listen to your problems, and is very good at determining what treatment is best for you. He is careful what drugs he prescribes with thinking only of what is best for his patients.

Dr. Billingslea has been my primary care physician for 13 years. I was impressed by the care I received from the start but was really convinced when he diagnosed a problem that had been bothering me for years and had been missed by some of the best specialists at the UC Davis Medical Center. He actually researched my past medical records in doing so -- something I've never seen another physician do in my 60-some years. He has always been caring and thorough and I absolutely trust his diagnoses -- he's been 100 % on the money for both me and my husband who is also a patient. Dr. Billingslea is a wonderful doctor!!!!!

This doctor provided excellent service and by far the best medical review i have had in years. If you are thinking about becoming a patient of his i highly recomend it.
