Dr. Colin Macneill, MD

Still need to see him, but one of the kindest doctors I have ever had. He is patient, lets me ask questions and I never feel rushed. I am 74 and he continues to try and help me with my pain.

I saw Dr MacNeill at Harvard Vanguard Vulva-Vaginal health. My initial impression was he is genuine and professional. I liked his manner very much and I will continue to use him as my specialist for my vulva condition. I haven't had a male gyn, ob, or PCP for over 20 years. But now I do because he was sensitive to my feelings and how my disorder effects my life.

I went to Dr. McNeill and loved him , he makes an unpleasant situation pleasant, I went to him for many years and it’d my insurance didn’t change I would have continued to see him , Boy! how I wish my insurance would have been the same , Thank you Dr. McNeill for all your care , God Bless you with health so you may continue to help all your patients .

In all of my years I don't think I have ever met a physician who is so invested in his field and in the welfare of his patients. Besides being an accomplished and knowledgeable Ob/Gyn, what impressed me the most about him is that he is not satisfied until he feels that he's helped his patients, and he will bend over backwards to either figure out what's going on, or at least put them on the right trail. He's a model physician and easily one of the best at Hershey.

I think Dr. McNeill is an excellent doctor who always takes time to listen to his patient's concerns and offers several different routes of treatment when possible. He is a genuinely kind man.

Dr. McNeill is one of the best doctors in the HMC system. He is a very kind and compassionate person. I would recommend him to anyone.

I had my first visit with Dr. MacNeill today and was very impressed! I am convinced that he loves what he does and is committed to doing whatever he can to relieve the pain and discomfort his patients are experiencing. He spent a considerable amount of time discussing my symptoms prior to the examination, and he certainly leaves no stone unturned in investigating possible solutions. I am feeling hopeful that I have finally found a physician that truly cares and is completely forthright in educating the patient about the medical condition. I cannot recommend Dr. MacNeill enough!

He saved my love life, literally! He is so compassionate, humble, and thorough! He is very busy, & sometimes you have to wait, but you will find that he is worth the wait. I was misdiagnosed by another Dr. with vaginal lichen sclerosis, he helped the problem & my husband & I are so pleased, we just celebrated 40 years of marriage, & the last 9 years had't been good, sexually, or for all the discomfort I had. He is my HERO!

I have had Dr. MacNeill as a dr for 2 years for pain. The one thing I really liked about Dr MacNeill is the time he spent with you to discuss your history and discuss your symptoms. He did not give up until he found a solution to the problem. The only negative that I give to the office is the time spent waiting to see him in the office. One time I spent an hour in the examining room waiting to see him.

I suffered for many, many years with chronic vaginal pain. I saw countless doctors who didn't know what the problem was, and started to indicate that it may all be 'in my head'. I endured so much pain and emotional stress during those 7 years until I met a wonderful doctor, Dr. Daniel Weber, who was the first doctor to admit he wasn't sure what the problem was, that I wasn't crazy, and that I should see Dr. MacNeill. I did, and Dr. MacNeill diagnosed me in 10 minutes after 7 years of searching for an answer. I cried with relief! He treated me over the course of 4 years and helped me manage my pain to a level of 'normal' I never knew. I attribute him with saving my life because by the time I saw him, I was so depressed and suffered for so long, I was giving up on life. He helped me get my health under control and I'm better than ever now. He is a very caring and gentle man. I would recommend him to anyone! I moved out of state 2 years ago and haven't found anyone doing the… kind of research and helping women the way he is. Thank you, Dr. MacNeill!
