Dr. Constantine Gregory Marousis, MD

Dr Marousis practiced at 1 time in Sarasota, FL.. He would not communicate, sent the PA in and ALL of my verbal communication with this man lasted a total of !!!!1!!!!! minute (so there is no mistake that is ONE MINUTE!). I will concede that it may have been more than a minute, but not by much. So I will get down to the bottom line: he came in to the suite to do the colonoscopy and I told him that the prep wasn't adequate and HE SNAPPED "I'LL BE THE JUDGE OF THAT" and I was out. The next thing I remember is seeing a tall male figure in scrubs saying that there was a slight problem and they could send me home or do surgery but that they thought that I had suffered a tear of the intestines. I actually rode the county transit bus to the hospital for the scope and now I have to decide if I was going to have surgery or go home with what appeared to be torn intestines. I lived alone and had no one to help me! AND I KNEW THAT IF I WENT HOME I COULD DEVELOP PERITONITIS AND DIE! I WOKE UP FROM… MAJOR SURGERY (DISECTION) WITH 43 STAPLES IN MY ABDOMEN! I spent close to 3 weeks in a hospital bed at a hospital and an nursing home. I missed the court date for the hearing re:my deceased sisters estate due to the injury I suffered at the hands of what I considered is an careless doctor! Please consider what happened to me before you see this doctor and know 1 month after he did this to me he had another incident. Fortunately the next patient he hurt was able to find an attorney to pursue a court case against this reckless doctor. NOTE: Please remember that it is my judgement as far as whether or not this "medical professional" is reckless. Please think about what 1 doctor with an uncaring attitude could do to your life!

Dr. Constantine saved my life twice. My intestines perforated and he took care of me even when I didn't have insurance. He is a doctor that truly cares.

Has completed 2 scopes and very Patient friendly

He makes colonoscopies much easier than other doctors. I have been a patient for over 15 years. I highly recommend him.

This doctor doesn't know how to listen. My daughter was in incredible pain and he didn't do anything until she wound up in the ER and had to have emergency surgery. I asked him several times not to give her her next Humira shot and he insisted on giving it to her. (There is a ten day window on that drug that he wouldn't look into) 2 days later she had MRSA. My husband is a physician and I am a respiratory therapist. Why he couldn't hear me is still painful.

Dr. Marousis performed all 3 of my colonoscopies and was superb. My father was a dr. So I am extra critical.

I was very happy with this dr. He answered all my questions and told me if u think of anything else to call him. Very nice to me before my test and before being discharged from the hospital he came to check on me.

I HAD BEEN TREATED FOR HYATL HERNIA FOR YEARS. ONE ENDOSCOPY WITH DR. MAROUSIS AND HE FOUND I HAD A HERNIATED STOMACH. SURGERY FOLLOWED IN 1999 AND HAVE NOT HAD A STOMACH PAIN SINCE.

Very displeased with this doc. Only after insisting to change meds since the one he prescribed was not taking effect he decided to change it. Much better but because of me since he was refusing to change, Also had an unnecessary colonoscopy because internal hemorroids ???? AND he scared me to death thinking that the rectal bleeding could be something serious.....C'om !!!!never even mention de possibility
