Dr. John Michael Bray, MD

Dr. Bray is the best Pulmonologist I've ever had in my life. I was a regular patient from 1996-2011 when I had to relocate. I have Alpha 1 Anti-Trypsin deficiency, Chronic Bronchitis, and Emphysema. I had a close call with death in 2005-06, and if not for Dr. Bray I don't know if I would have pulled through. Very personable, caring, and takes time with his patients. Best in the panhandle BY FAR. I really miss him!!

While I believe Dr. John Bray is an excellent physician since I've always gotten good care from him, I cannot say the same thing about some of the support staff. For three weeks now I've been trying to get an answer to a question that should not be difficult to answer. During that time, I've gotten two return calls from the support staff telling me (1) doctor is out of the office for the week while working in ICU, (2) doctor has just returned and I will try to get your message to him. The latter was a week and a half ago. I called again three days ago and left a message, still have not gotten a return call. Even explained that I needed an answer to my question for a final compensation review with the VA coming up in two weeks. I'm just very disappointed in the lack of response shown.

I saw him while in the hospital. He was very informative and didn't rush to leave. He made sure I understood everything. Highly recommend him.

Dr. Bray was my mom's doctor while she was in the hospital. We first met him while she was still in the ER. Immediately we were impressed with his personal connection with mom and her family. He was very thorough with his exam and questions and he really cared about mom's condition. She went to CCU from the ER and Dr. Bray was her doctor while she was in the hospital and we couldn't have asked for a better doctor. We are so thankful he was on rotation when mom needed a doctor in the hospital.

Extremely intent on getting to the bottom of a condition; making his own examination of records etc. and seeing for himself all the parts of the whole. Very personable and caring while extremely efficient with a caring and accurate staff.
