When you hear from a seasoned doctor the phrase "Let's try this & see what happens", with which he recommended invasive & expensive treatments (insert electrical probe onto my spine or a valve on the urethra) - that's when I raised eyebrows. I went to Dr Comter hoping to receive quality treatment from him. Unfortunately, after a few invasive procedures (Botox onto the bladder & injection into the sphincter) - my condition not only did not improve - it got worse. Before seeing the Doctor, I never had to use catheters to void. Now I do which result with occasional bleeding. I came with the impression that this respected doctor's priority is to maximize profit before what's best for his patients. Needless to add his failure to listen to his patients.
